  Anti Dandruff Shampoo That Actually Calmed My Itchy Scalp and Helped My Curls

  I picked up this Dercos salicylic acid shampoo because my scalp had been itchy and flaky and my curls were not loving it. I wanted something that treated dandruff without wrecking my hair and this one ended up being a really good balance. The texture is interesting because it starts out watery but once you work it into your hair it foams up nicely. A little goes a long way and it spreads easily across the scalp. It felt cooling and soothing right away which was such a relief on itchy days. After rinsing my scalp felt clean but not stripped or tight. What really impressed me was how well it worked without drying out my curls. My hair still had definition and bounce and I noticed less frizz after a few washes. A lot of dandruff shampoos make my hair feel rough or dull but this one didn't do that at all. After using it consistently my flakes were noticeably reduced and my scalp felt calmer overall. I like that it's sulfate free and feels gentle enough to use regularly without worrying about buildup or irritation. If you deal with dandruff or an itchy scalp and also care about how your curls look this is definitely worth trying. It helped my scalp feel better and my hair still looked healthy which is exactly what I was hoping for. It doesn't smell really strong minty like, which I can't handle that smell it effects me. I was okay with the way this shampoo smelled.

  Great anti dandruff shampoo!

  I am really happy with the purchase of this Dercos salicylic acid anti-dandruff shampoo. This is a great shampoo that helps to fight and control the reoccurrence of dandruff. It is designed for curly to coily hair. The shampoo provides definition and frizz control for all curly hair types This is a great value for the money. Great feel and functionality.

  So far so good

  So far so good. It's a gentle liquidy shampoo that foams. I like the ingredients listed. The scent is spicy like a men's deodorant, but I don't notice a scent after my hair dries. I've combined this and left it on my scalp with their Selenium shampoo. The flaky layer on my scalp has lifted. My scalp doesn't itch as much. So far it seems like it's effective on relieving my scalp issues.

  Clean Hair at Last

  Reviewed by a kid who usually forgets to wash their hair: Okay so I'm not the best at remembering to wash my hair. My mom says my head starts to look like a little grease helmet and honestly she's right. My scalp gets itchy and flaky and my curls get all sad and frizzy. She made me try this shampoo and I thought it was going to smell weird or sting because it has salicylic acid… but it actually just feels kind of cool and clean. When I rub it in, it makes this soft foam that gets right to my scalp even though my curls are thick. After I rinse it out, my hair doesn't feel all dried out like some other dandruff shampoos do. My curls look way more normal like, actual curls instead of crunchy dust spirals. My head stops itching for real, and even my mom said my hair looked human again. I still forget to wash sometimes, but when I do remember this stuff fixes everything fast. Perfect for kids like me with curly hair and, um, questionable hygiene habits.
