Equipped with a lead-screw type STM stepping motor, the lens provides fast, precise, and virtually silent autofocus performance that seamlessly integrates with Sony eye and face detection tracking systems.

Filmmakers and vloggers will particularly appreciate the minimal focus breathing, which ensures consistent framing when pulling focus during video capture.
