Product details

The Viltrox AF 28mm F4.5 Pancake Lens for Sony E-mount cameras redefines portable photography with its exceptionally slim, chip-size design. Measuring a mere 15.3 mm in thickness and weighing just 60 grams, this full-frame prime wide-angle lens acts as a functional body cap that is always ready to shoot.

It is specifically engineered for photographers who value stealth and mobility, making it an excellent companion for spontaneous street photography, sweeping landscapes, and casual daily portraits. Despite its miniature form factor, it delivers sharp high-resolution imagery with rich color rendering.

An innovative integrated lens cap operates via a smooth slide lever, ensuring your glass is always protected from environmental elements without the risk of misplacing a separate cap. Additionally, a advanced multilayer nanocoating shields the front element from water droplets, dust particles, and oily smudges, preserving optical clarity during outdoor excursions.

Whether mounted on a compact full-frame body or an APS-C camera where it provides a forty-one millimeter equivalent focal length, this unique prime lens offers a natural perspective for compelling visual storytelling.

  1. Align the mounting index marker on the lens with the corresponding dot on your Sony E-mount camera body.
  2. Carefully insert the lens and rotate it clockwise until it securely clicks into place.
  3. Slide the integrated lens cap lever to expose the glass element, power on your camera, and select your desired autofocus or tracking mode to begin shooting.

Constructed using premium optical glass elements, an engineered lightweight composite barrel housing, electronic communication contacts, a multilayer water-repellent nanocoating, and an integrated mechanical slide mechanism.
