The VIOFO Circular Polarizing Lens CPL Filter is an essential automotive accessory designed to dramatically improve the video quality of your dashcam recordings during daytime driving. Acting just like polarized sunglasses for your vehicle's camera, this premium optical glass filter effectively eliminates harsh reflections from shiny surfaces, dashboard bounce-back, and intense windshield glare.
By filtering out unwanted polarized light, it enhances color saturation and contrast, making critical details like road signs and license plates significantly easier to read. Perfect for daily commuters and road trippers across India facing intense sunlight, this protective lens attachment also shields your primary dashcam lens element from permanent damage caused by accidental fingerprints, airborne dust, and scratches.
It features a straightforward snap-on design for secure installation and works seamlessly without requiring complex manual alignment.
How to use
- Peel off any protective film from both sides of the CPL lens filter.

FAQs
CPL filter, worth it or nah?
Yes, it is highly worth it for daytime driving. The filter significantly reduces dashboard reflections and windshield glare, which can otherwise ruin your footage and blur crucial details like license plates.
Can I use this VIOFO CPL filter for night-time driving?
While highly effective on sunny days, CPL filters slightly darken the image because they block certain light waves. Drivers generally recommend removing the filter during night commutes to prevent underexposed video footage.
Does this filter require manual calibration or adjustment?
The filter comes preset for standard windshield angles and does not require complex calibration. However, you can gently rotate it within its housing frame to find the absolute best anti-glare angle for your specific vehicle.
Is this VIOFO CPL Filter an authentic USA import available in India?
