    Nicely natural

    Poor hands get cracked and sore often with outdoor work- like gardening, field work, yardwork and cleaning. Always looking for new balms to rub on them at night. Or day, as needed. Especially along the knuckles. This one from Vital Affair so far seems like a great one. Comes in a round tin. Rubs on easily. Skin seems to soak it in. A little goes a long way. Feels moisturizing and restorative. Includes many products my skin seems to crave like shea butter and tea tree oil, as well as other natural products like lavender, eucalyptus, oregano, peppermint and thyme. All blends smoothly together, goes on like butter. Great for leaving on overnight.

    Refreshing & Relaxing Fragrance

    Was a bit tough to open at first but managed by prying on all four sides one by one. If you enjoy the scent of tea tree oil, you'll for sure appreciate this. Not overly powerful and yet enough to provide a refreshing as well as relaxing fragrance. Balm appears difficult to work with but turned out to be the complete opposite. It melts immediately on the finger tips and was able to easily apply generously. Absorbs well without leaving a greasy film behind. This works effectively on dry patches and even controls the itching as well. Worth the relief! Plan on grabbing a smaller size if available to carry while traveling. Would love to have with me at all times.

    Subtle Scent

    First, I appreciated the tin had a plastic seal; that goes a long way in my book. It has a combination of many different botanical oil scents…Eucalyptus, tea tree, oregano, lavender, thyme and peppermint. No one scent overpowers, it is more of a very mild subtle scent of a menthol rub. The texture looks like a grainy room temperature butter and rubs on as a balm. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy appearance. Surprisingly, I didn't experience a strong tingling sensation that I would except from many of the active ingredients. I have used this as an overnight moisturizer using white cotton gloves to extend the moisturizing capabilities on my hands and cuticles with decent results. My only challenge with this was initially getting the lid off. The Tin container was a little greasy , making it slippery and difficult to get a good hold on it to remove the lid. After a few times dropping it and a washcloth, I was able to get it open. I'm not sure if it has a melting point so I'm being mindful to not leave this in my car or purse. The back label advertises it is made in the USA and is not tested on animals which for me as a consumer is a huge selling point.

    A wonderful blend of beneficial oils!

    This body balm is so nice! It's a wonderful blend of some of my favorite oils, including shea butter, castor seed oil, beeswax, eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, oregano oil, lavender oil, thyme oil, and peppermint oil. It has a smooth texture, it's easy to apply, and it absorbs fast. No heaviness or stickiness like some of the similar formulas I tried. It also has a pleasant natural scent of all the blended ingredients. Just so good! Especially on cold days we have now! And I like the tin can it comes in. It's a bit pricey, but I don't mind paying for quality products with nice ingredients. This is my first time trying this brand and product, and I'm definitely getting more.
