The Watts LFN36-M1 Water Service Low Profile Vacuum Relief Valve is an essential plumbing component engineered to protect water heaters, hot water supply tanks, and low-pressure steam systems from dangerous vacuum conditions. Constructed from a durable lead-free copper silicon alloy brass body with a protective cap, this valve automatically allows air to enter the piping system when a vacuum occurs.
This automatic operation stops potential water siphoning that can lead to tank collapse or equipment burnout. It is fully tested and rated to ANSI Z21.22 standards and carries CSA certification for safety and reliability.
Ideal for tight plumbing installations, this 3/4 inch male NPT thread valve handles maximum working pressures up to 200 psi and temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Designed for residential and commercial plumbing setups, it ensures your heating equipment remains safe and operational.
How to use
- Ensure the water supply is turned off and the system is depressurized before installation.
