    This will leave your skin silky smooth

    I bought the tube of Weleda skin food in the past, but I discovered I like the jar better. It's really easy to use, and a little goes a long way. It's super-moisturizing, and has a nice, light, fresh scent. This is not only good for hands and other body parts, but can also be used as a facial moisturizer. The moisturizing effects last for a long time. Your skin doesn't feel dry again after a few hours like some moisturizers. I really like this stuff, and will buy it again. I recommend it for people with dry skin. It's best to use right after washing your face, or showering, while your skin is still slightly damp.

    Favorite lotion for winter skin!

    This stuff is amazing!!! Heals dry skin and is perfect for winter. Love how moisturizing it is and a little goes a long way. I have sensitive skin and this didn't make me breakout or clog my pores at all. Great value for the amount you get too

    It's still great!

    I have seriously dry skin and an aversion to lotions that make me feel like I've been slathered with...anything. Weleda body butter is thick going on but in no time flat it absorbs into the skin and just feels...wonderfully normal. It's not sticky or greasy at all and smells quite nice (at least to my nose). It's sort of citrusy, not heavily perfumey, and it doesn't complete with your fragrance. It might seem a tad expensive but it's a good sized tub and lasts a long time even if, like me, you use it every day. I think it's one of the world's best moisturizers. So there you go.

    The answer for dry skin - it WORKS!

    My skin woes are over! I've tried numerous lotions, oils, and combinations of both for my dry skin over the course of 2 years since moving to a desert area with very hard water, and nothing worked. THIS body butter works, though! It doesn't take a huge amount, it melts into the skin easily, and actually smooths it out. I'm no longer having to constantly reapply or just deal with ashy, scaley skin. I can apply after my shower in the evening, and wake up still smooth. The fragrance is very light pleasant, but doesn't linger very long, which is a plus for me. I love the glass jar, too. It's a little pricey, but a little bit goes a long way, and it really, really works.
