  Highly recommended by my cat

I mixed the Wellness Complete Health Purrfect Duos Turkey & Salmon Dinner Cuts in Gravy into my cat's dry food and he was very eager to eat it. The texture is loose and very wet which helps it coat the kibble right away. I like how quickly it spreads because it saves me time at each feeding. My cat gets excited when I open this flavor and he leans in close to watch me stir it in. He stays at the bowl for a long time and I hear steady crunching which tells me he is eating both parts of the meal. The ingredients start with protein: turkey, turkey broth, dried egg product and salmon. The formula also has carrots, dried ground peas, sunflower oil, fish oil, flaxseed, cranberries, taurine and vitamins. I like that it is grain free and made without artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or carrageenan. The duo cups are simple to use. They break apart cleanly and the foil lifts off without any trouble. Each half is a 1.32 ounce serving so the 12 cup case gives him 24 servings. The current price is $23.88 which comes to $1.00 per serving. I think that is a fair price for a food made with high quality ingredients that helps my much too skinny cat to eat more. I did not have any quality control or freshness issues with this case. My cat enjoyed this flavor as much as the five others he has tried. He has experienced no stomach distress such as diarrhea or gas. I feel confident about feeding it to him due to the high quality ingredients and the fact that it is made in the USA.

Grain-Free Protein Rich Turkey & Salmon Cat Food

Since we have 5 cats in our household, it really is a challenge to find a food that all 5 of them want to eat. Over the years we have done a pretty good job rotating their foods so they won't get tired of any one specific brand or flavor of food. We researched the Wellness brand, and afterwards we were convinced that the ingredients are probably higher quality than what our cats are used to. Cats seem to prefer the run-of-the-mill cat foods that have fillers in them. Typically we would only try the premium grain-free foods like Wellness when on sale at the local stores because they are very expensive when they are full price. Wellness is one of the grain-free wet food brands that we actually had not tried yet. When we opened the first packet of this Salmon and Turkey Wellness, all 5 cats came running over. I think this was because it was some new smell and the curiosity of the cats just had to see what it was right away. We split the pack onto multiple plates. All of the cats smelled it and didn't know whether to like it or not. Then after about 10 seconds, they dug in and really enjoyed it. They barely came up for air! They completely cleared the plates. They continued to eat until there was nothing left on the plate at all, no crumbs or remnants.I am really impressed with the quality of the Wellness food. It is difficult to make a healthy food that cats actually like to eat. I know most cats prefer the food that has grains and fillers as that is like a junk food for cats. Like I mentioned before, I did do research, and I am confident that the ingredients are fresh and high quality. I will open a different flavor for them every day or two to keep being able to give them some variety. This is a 24 serving pack so the price of $23.72 makes it less than $1 per serving which is a great value. I would recommend this food to all cat owners, especially those who have finicky cats.Title of the item being reviewed:Wellness Complete Health Purrfect Duos, Cuts in Gravy, Adult Wet Cat Food, Natural, Protein-Rich, Grain-Free, 2.64 Ounce, 12 Pack, (Turkey & Salmon Dinner Recipe)

  Absolutely cat loves it

My cat gravitated towards this wet food immediately. I like this type of food for her as it has a good amount of meat protein. I like the twin packs as I can give her as much as she is willing to eat while still keeping fresh. We started by mixing a small serving with her current wet food and she ate it without any problems. My cat seems to prefer these cuts in gravy as they seem to be her favorite type of wet food. I appreciate they are grain free and nutritious for her.

  Decent Grain-Free Cat Food

This wet food is on the lower end of appeal for my cats. Some ignore it, one just laps up the meager broth, and a couple actually eat it. The ones that did eat it immediately drank water afterward. Their poops also smelled worse on this wet cat food than on our usual, mainly animal-based wet cat food.It is grain-free but includes non-animal ingredients such as carrots, dried ground peas, natural flavor, sunflower oil, guar gum, salt, ground flaxseed, dried chicory root, and cranberries. The full ingredients are available on the Dropy site product description and photos, and the guaranteed analysis is found in the photos. Although AAFCO is not mentioned anywhere on the listing or product, it is labeled "complete adult cat food," which could indicate it meets AAFCO standards for nutritional adequacy. The turkey and salmon are in each serving, with turkey and turkey broth being the first two ingredients and salmon the fifth ingredient. The meat cuts are generous compared to the gravy. This is a wet food with a maximum of 82% moisture, so it supports hydration; it includes fish oil to support skin and coat health. This is marketed for adult cats, not kittens or seniors.Feeding instructions: feed 5 1/4 to 6 1/4 servings per 6 to 8 lbs of body weight per day. My best-by date: July 9, 2027 (next year). Refrigerate opened, unused portions.
