Good quality food, though cats don't necessarily need 100% grain free food
I love that the 1st 3 ingredients are chicken, tuna and salmon. NOT by-products, but the actual meat. Also, taurine is high up on the list which is a must. Ingredients are super important to me. I do love that it is high in protein and has no artificial flavors or preservatives.Having said that, I am not concerned about feeding my cats "grain free" food, as I believe it's more of a marketing campaign than fact. So, while this is marketed as grain free, I am also feeding my cat a variety of food that has grain. I have a good Veterinarian that I discuss food health with, and would always encourage that for anyone with a pet. Quality of food = greater quality of life and less health issues (usually). I want to feed my pets healthy food and this Wellness core kitten food looks pretty good. I'm not an expert by any means, but I do try my best when feeding my pets.My cat is enjoying this Wellness core food, but I wouldn't recommend it for 100% of a kitten's diet, though mixing it up with other food works well for me.

BEST cat food!!
I just got a kitten in May and I really wanted to provide him with the best food I could. I started him off on Hill science diet, but he just wasn't finishing all the food and he would eat it, but he never lick the bowl clean. I also did some research and found out that Hills science has corn And wheat and dairy and sugar in their food which animals do not need! My cat gets to eat gluten and dairy so I tend to stay away from it. Best I can. I stumbled upon this food on a YouTube website and decided to give it a try. I went and bought one can from Petsmart and my cat ate it so fast! He basically licked bowl clean so I didn't even have to clean it , I got the chicken and salmon flavor and that has been his favorite so far, I haven't tried the other flavors because I just don't want to stick with what he loves best. I'll definitely stick with this when he gets into an adult and I'll find an adult flavor of wellness chicken and salmon. I highly recommend this, I always get many compliments on how he is very healthy growing really well and by giving him wet food he is staying hydrated. I even add a little bit of extra water or , carnivore bone broth to his food just to keep an extra hydrated!
