My Dog Can't Get Enough!
My dog loves this food. Could it be that it makes him salivate more than normal? He seriously gobbles it up quickly. The dog food actually looks like it could be a human dish - with visible peas, ground meat, and rice. Haven't tried it myself - but tempted!I started giving my 50lb husky mix small portions added to his kibble to make sure it didn't upset his stomach. The directions recommend 3 packages a day for a dog his size. The package isn't the biggest - definitely doesn't satisfy his hunger by itself, but makes a nice supplement. He's had zero stomach issues with this/no usually soft poop.It comes in a nice resealable package that's handy if you don't give them the entire package in one sitting.I will definitely continue to buy these for him.

My dog loves them!
My dog is OBSESSED with these wet food packets. I have a 65lb lab mix, and I use these packets to supplement her dry food if we have a lower energy day, or if I have to leave the house following meal times. I'll do 3/4 of her normal dry food amount, fill the bowl with water, mix in a bag of the wellness protein bowls, and then put it in the freezer and she is obsessed. The licking significantly reduced her anxiety while we're away, and she gets excited for her meals. The ingredients seem high quality with a significant proportion of meat to other fillers. We have never seen any issues with her stomach after eating. This flavor is her favorite of the ones we have tried. I haven't noticed a super strong odor, but I don't have the strongest nose, so I would take that with a grain of salt. These can be a touch pricey for the size if you have a big dog, as you would need multiple packets for a full serving.

Tasty and healthy protein option for dogs
Our dogs loved the Wellness Protein Bowls with Lamb, Red Rice, and Peas! They both absolutely inhaled the recipe and it mixed well when we did a 50/50 serving between this and their dry kibble. It did not produce a strong odor when opened and they didn't have any digestive issues the following day, which is a huge plus introducing new foods into their diets. Would purchase again to provide another protein option into their normal meal rotation!!Value is decent, can't really go wrong with less than $5 a pouch but I'd say a steal at $20 or less per package of 6. Since it has a pretty long shelf life of almost 2 years, it's a good product with longevity at that price point.Best by: 8/7/2028

I'm really impressed with these new protein bowl formulas from Wellness, particularly in the context of what is going on in the pet food industry overall! For months I have been aware of all the subscription dog food companies advertising formulations that are "superior" to traditional dog food - fresher, more nutritious, etc - but I am always loathe to subscribe to anything and those formulas seem rather pricy for what they are offering. Enter Wellness Protein Bowls! This formula offers all the bespoke dog food formulations of these subscription models backed with the high ingredients, standards and quality that Wellness has been offering for decades! These cleverly designed meals are not as wet and sloppy as some dog food because they are concentrated with ingredients - meat, vegetables, and grains! This formula has lamb, rice and peas and my dogs really love it! I adore that these pouches are so easily resealable so you can make this last for a few meals - either as an addition to kibble or all on its own. So far my dogs love these (I got several flavors) and now come running when they hear me shaking the pouches in the morning. These are definitely worth getting and trying out on your dogs - particularly if you are looking for higher quality options to add to your dog's diet. Awesome product!!
