My picky eater actually likes this!
My boy is extremely old and has always been a very picky eater. In his old age, it has become increasingly difficult to find foods that he wants to eat. Amazingly, my boy took to eating this with no problem. It comes in sealed pouches and are re-sealable. (Great for travel!) The food looks fresh and homemade like it was cooked in my own kitchen. There are zero by-products. Not gonna lie, I do question why there is salt included in the ingredients, as I do feel like that is an unnecessary addition. But my boy is eating it, and that is a win in my book. He has had 2 pouches of this so far, and his bowel movements are great. Good digestion. Overall, I feel like this is a great option if looking for healthy food for your furbaby.

HIGH QUALITY & SLOW COOKED DOG MEALS - A Great WAY TO ADD Nutrition & Variety to Your Dog's Diet!!
I'm really impressed with these new protein bowl formulas from Wellness, particularly in the context of what is going on in the pet food industry overall! For months I have been aware of all the subscription dog food companies advertising formulations that are "superior" to traditional dog food - fresher, more nutritious, etc - but I am always loathe to subscribe to anything and those formulas seem rather pricy for what they are offering. Enter Wellness Protein Bowls! This formula offers all the bespoke dog food formulations of these subscription models backed with the high ingredients, standards and quality that Wellness has been offering for decades! These cleverly designed meals are not as wet and sloppy as some dog food because they are concentrated with ingredients - meat, vegetables, and grains! This formula has beef, egg & red pepper and my dogs really love it! I adore that these pouches are so easily resealable so you can make this last for a few meals - either as an addition to kibble or all on its own. So far my dogs love these (I got several flavors - and both dogs seem to have their favorites overall these are a hit!) and now come running when they hear me shaking the pouches in the morning. These are definitely worth getting and trying out on your dogs - particularly if you are looking for higher quality options to add to your dog's diet. Awesome product!!

Pricey in the longterm, but my dogs loved it
I've fed 3 generations of Yorkies totalling close to 20 doggos over the years with Wellness core puppy kibble. I currently have 7, but reserved this 6 pack for my two females (you know, pamper them a bit). If you open the package and use the whole thing in a feeding, refrigeration isn't necessary. I split one pouch between two Yorkies mixed with their kibble. The texture and ingredients quality are top notch. This stuff smells really good even to a human nose, and looks like something you'd probably make for yourself. If you're feeding one or two dogs, it's very easy to distribute or split as you squeeze the resealable bag. The girls on the first day dove right in and didn't come up for air until the bowl was empty. By day two, they were patrolling around me the entire time to go fill their bowls. It has a pretty dramatic effect. They seem just as happy and alert as ever. As my title states, these are a little pricey if you're going to do this every single day but if you want to give your doggos a little surprise every once in a while - it's well worth it.
