Product details
Description
The Whitecap 60469 Standard Teak Winch Pad is engineered for boat owners seeking a durable, marine-grade mounting base for sheet winches and deck hardware. Crafted from solid, kiln-dried teak wood, this pad features a natural high oil content that provides exceptional resistance against harsh marine environments, including saltwater, extreme sun exposure, and heavy rain.
Measuring with a 7-inch top diameter, a 7-7/8-inch bottom diameter, and a 1-1/4-inch thickness, this flat 0-degree mounting angle base ensures a secure and level fit on your boat deck or coaming. Traditional woodworking joints, countersunk screw fittings, and a hand-sanded finish highlight the rich golden-brown grain of the wood, which can age gracefully to a silvery grey over time if left untreated.
Ideal for marine enthusiasts looking for authentic USA-imported boat accessories combining long-lasting structural strength with classic wooden aesthetics.
How to use
- Position the winch pad on a clean, dry section of the boat deck or coaming where the winch will be mounted.
- Align the pre-drilled or countersunk screw holes with your mounting surface.
- Fasten securely using marine-grade stainless steel screws.
- Apply an annual coat of teak oil or sealer to maintain the rich golden finish, or leave untreated to develop a natural silvery-grey patina.
