works fine for older mic setup
bought this on a total whim just because my old audio rig was acting weird and i needed something to fit the 1/4 inch female mount onto my camera setup. thought it might be too loose but the dual large locking nuts actually held everything tight without wobbling. packaging was a bit dusty when it arrived though.
