FM DX reception is extraordinary. Bandwidth options a spacious bonus for AM + SW
This radio has great audio out of the box! Easy to use menu. I made just a minor bias adjustment for linearity and Ssb signals. Was all that was wanted. Over -130dbm ssb! You'll love this radio if you ever had an export or galaxy radio? Performance is just exceptional! Value Modulation is faultless at 95-99% beautiful waveform on spectrum and scope! Echo and talkback are pristine and vivid with stock mic. Proportions is comparable to a standard (galaxy 33-99 or 2950 size) export rig. On frequency out of the box! Get the SSB and AM/FM fully capable radio the 955! Try one, you'll either thank me or yourself later! If you're going to spend the money on a radio with frequencies that usually have SSB activity on them? Out of box! Receiver solid to -128dbm on am! ALC adjusted for ssb waveform. Not necessary to tune up to hot rod! The optional ranger SRA-198 mic is a wonderful option (superior audio and cancellation) for an optional mic vs the optional stryker (muffled - bassy) noise cancellation mic. Why get a am fm only radio 655? Superb receiver! You'll love this one even more!Asymmetrical modulation and plenty of swing stock.Just jump a solder pad to expand frequency coverage.Swings over 60w peak out of box.

Nice Radio, easy to nagivgate, minor sound issue
The sound grade is extremely fine given the amount of $15, it exceeds the expectation. With Digital Signal Processing (DSP) has significantly enhanced AM, FM, and Shortwave (SW) signals, transforming a nice listening encounter by improving sensitivity, selectivity, and audio caliber. It sounds like a high-craftsmanship full-range driver speaker.

Not for the beginner, but do get anyways.NICELY WORTH IT
Extremely Remarkable MP3 Media Radio Combo. Trans Flash (TF) card slot is largely same as SDMicro memory card and is fully compatible with this unit.. Real Speaker Grill on Facade preserves the look so tossing the Cone Speaker. Pushing Mode Button gets "Voice" "TF" and Switches to MICRO SD Memory Card and plays. Wonderful for carrying/packing around (minus maybe speaker cone) and easily putting anywhere.. and amp would work... Looks Cheap and blocks antenna lowering to normal parked slot. Case is Sturdy Wood patterned plastic with fabric grill. Decent Price for a Effectively Made-Fantastic Sounding with Nicely Layed Out Controls and Nostalgic looking Radio Phonograph that plays multiple audo format files and a Radio. Didnt try Bluetooth or Auxillary In as USB and Memory Card Work for me... Knob moveable Tuning Needle to printed frequencies is fairly accurate. Battery is a high Capacity 3.7 Volt Lithium-Ion Model 18650 (Info Under Battery screw door). 2 songs in it remembers playlist and after turning off and reverse on it remembers last song and starts at beginning of last played (remembered after battery taken out 8 songs in). Knobs turn quietly for volume and crisp for tuning. For its Proportions this Unit is loud and Sounds Good. Not sure what the Aux In can handle power wise. Plugged in USB with switch to MP3 and turned on unit with funky phono switch swing arm and Voice (Foreign English) says USB and plays. If USB and memory card are plugged in at same time then once powered on the "Voice" defauls to and says USB and plays... SW picked up Canada and local stations showed up in Solid. Took about 5 hours to charge after taking out of box (But did the job connected to 1A charger). Reception is Wonderful. Everything to playing auto or control is smoothly speedy. Buttons allow skipping Ahead or Back. Speaker Cone is plastic and attaches to Rear. Decent Feature as 64GB Memory Card or USB supports 10s of thousands of songs so if you want to play a big collection thru beginning to end then this is it. Not sure if a microphone or guitar plugged in and units preamp? All in All this is a Fantastic Unit. Tailgate, RV, Garage, House etc... Instructions says phone or computer. Sound is Loud with No Distortion at Full Volume.
