FAQs
What is the best way to bond with a sugar glider?
The best way to bond with a sugar glider is through consistent, scent-based interactions using a specialized accessory like a bonding mitt. Allowing your pet to sleep or rest in a glove that carries your scent helps them associate you with safety. Keep sessions calm, quiet, and brief in the beginning to build trust gradually.
What gloves can rats not bite through?
While aggressive or large animals can chew through standard fabrics, thickened coral velvet gloves provide excellent resistance against the typical nips and exploratory biting of small rats and hamsters. They cushion the hand and minimize pressure, preventing painful scratches and minor bites during daily handling.
How do you wash the calming sleeping glove?
To maintain the softness and hygiene of the fabric, you can hand wash the mitts or use a gentle machine cycle with cold water. Avoid using harsh, heavily scented detergents that might irritate your pet's sensitive nose, and always allow the gloves to air dry completely before use.
