FAQs
How heavy should a weighted blanket be for a child?
As a general safety guideline, a child's weighted blanket should weigh approximately ten percent of their total body weight plus one or two additional pounds. This five-pound blanket is specifically designed to be safe and effective for children weighing between forty to sixty pounds.
Can my 7 year old sleep with a weighted blanket?
Yes, a seven-year-old child can safely sleep with a weighted blanket provided they meet the recommended weight requirements for that specific blanket. It is important that the child is capable of lifting and removing the blanket off themselves without any assistance.
Why aren't you supposed to sleep with a weighted blanket?
Weighted blankets are safe for sleeping as long as they correspond to the user's correct body weight percentage. However, they should never be used for infants, toddlers under the age of two, or individuals who cannot move freely under the weight, due to safety risks.
Is this Yescool weighted blanket an authentic imported product available in India?
Yes, this is a one hundred percent authentic Yescool product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources these specialized health and personal care products directly from certified American suppliers to ensure Indian customers receive genuine merchandise.
What are the washing instructions for the Yescool weighted blanket?
To protect the special glow-in-the-dark properties and the minky texture, hand washing or spot wiping is highly recommended. Avoid machine washing or using harsh chemical bleach as it can damage the internal seven-layer bead containment fabric.
