FAQs
What is the best thing to put under a bird cage?
While paper liners or trays help catch waste inside the cage, a stretchy nylon mesh skirt cover is the best accessory to place around the exterior base. It catches flying seed hulls and feathers before they land on your floor, significantly reducing your daily cleaning time.
What are bird cage covers made of?
Standard nighttime covers are usually made of heavy, light-blocking cotton or polyester fabrics. In contrast, daytime seed catching skirts are made of lightweight, breathable nylon mesh that allows air and light to circulate fully while trapping flying debris.
Can I use plastic mesh for a bird cage?
Rigid plastic mesh is not recommended for a seed catcher because it lacks the necessary flexibility to fit tightly against different cage shapes, leaving gaps. A soft, stretchy nylon fabric cover provides a superior, gap-free seal around the perimeter.
Is this Zarsio bird cage cover an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic Zarsio product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources these premium pet care accessories directly from trusted United States distributors to ensure Indian pet parents receive genuine international quality.
What size cage does this white seed catcher fit?
This white mesh skirt has a height of 35 centimeters and features an elastic design that stretches to fit cage circumferences or girths ranging from 140 centimeters up to 220 centimeters. It accommodates most standard small and medium round or rectangular cages.
