Product details

Zesty Paws Chew No Poo Bites Ancient Elements Soft Chews are expertly formulated to help discourage dogs from eating their own stool or other dogs' waste. Powered by Capsimax, a controlled-release capsicum chili extract, these delicious chews make feces unappealing to taste, effectively disrupting unwanted coprophagia habits. Beyond behavior deterrents, this multi-benefit formula actively supports your dog's overall wellness.

Each chew is packed with DE111 Bacillus subtilis, a clinically studied probiotic that delivers 1 Billion CFU to promote proper gut digestion, healthy stomach flora, and immune system function. Expensive. Worth it.

I do not know what magic is at work in these chewables, but they work. For one, our dog is a little picky about what flavors she will eat, and she is always happy to treat these like a treat. For two, she was a serial poop eater. She had the purple collar of shame at daycare for caprophagia. It was the worst smell on the planet and almost caused a car accident when she breathed on me on the way home. It took a few days for these to work fully, but even the partial steps were noticeable. Now, her caprophagia days are over. Sadly, when these were out of stock, we had a lapse, and she started to sniff her piles in the yard... and got curious. We forked over the extra cash and got these again, and her curiosity was over. Before these, we tried Vitamin E and fish oil - you name it - but nothing seemed to do the trick.

No more poop eating! And he loves them!

I recently adopted a 60 pound husky/pitt mix. I quickly noticed that he was eating his poop! I was trying to catch him in the act, and discourage it, but he would just grab the poop in his mouth and run with it. NASTY! I decided to give these a try, and YES!! They worked!!! Definitely worth the $30. They did take about a week or so before they started to do their job, but they do indeed do their job!! And he LOVES them!! So it's a nice little treat on top of getting him out of his nasty habit. Definitely recommend!!
