Description
Experience exceptional acoustic performance with the Zildjian K Custom 19-Inch Dark Crash Cymbal, engineered for professional drummers seeking a rich, complex sound. Crafted from premium B20 cast bronze, this thin and lightweight cymbal utilizes a specialized over-hammering technique that yields a dark, full-bodied tone coupled with a quick, bright attack and extra fast decay.
The 19-inch size delivers the rapid response typical of lighter cymbals while offering significantly greater volume potential and dynamic projection. Ideal for live gigs, studio recording sessions, and expressive drum set configurations, it cuts cleanly through a heavy mix without lingering too long, making it perfect for sudden accent hits and dynamic fills.
How to use
- Mount the cymbal securely onto a cymbal stand equipped with appropriate felt washers and a protective plastic sleeve to prevent keyholing.
- Strike with drumsticks using glancing blows across the bow and edge to produce optimal tonal response and prevent cracking.
