FAQs
What is the purpose of wood bleach 1 and 2?
The two-part system uses Solution A and Solution B in sequence to create a chemical reaction that penetrates the wood fibers. This process lightens the natural lignin and removes deep-seated stains that standard one-part cleaners cannot reach.
Does wood bleach really work?
Yes, it is highly effective for lightening the actual color of the wood rather than just removing surface dirt. It is specifically designed to neutralize red tones and lighten dark wood species to a more neutral, pale finish.
Can this be used on previously stained furniture?
The product works best on new or completely stripped wood. If the furniture has an existing lacquer or varnish, that coating must be removed first so the bleach can penetrate the wood pores effectively.
Is this Zinsser Wood Bleach an authentic USA import for Indian customers?
Yes, Dropy India sources this Zinsser Wood Bleach Kit directly from authorized distributors in the USA. We ensure that you receive the authentic American formulation for your premium woodworking projects.
How much area can one sixteen ounce kit cover?
Coverage depends on the porosity of the wood, but generally, one kit provides enough solution for small to medium furniture pieces or a section of decorative trim and paneling.
