These are exact factory zippo parts. Precisely what I wanted for my lighters You cannot go wrong.
- Sally5 ★
Wonderful flints, Excellent amount.
Quality flints at a good price. Better than buying one pack at a time if you use your lighter consistently. My only gripe was the plastic case they came in - it was a bit of a pain to figure out, but I'm also not that bright sometimes. It's easy enough to force open if you get to that point, not anything I would consider to be a dealbreaker. Just a minor inconvenience for me personally. Otherwise, the actual product you are buying here - the flints - are great.
FAQs
How do you properly replace a flint in your Zippo lighter?
To replace it, pull the internal insert out of the metal case and unscrew the spring assembly from the bottom. Drop the new flint stone into the tube, replace the spring, tighten it firmly with a coin, and slide the insert back into the case.
How often should you replace the flint stone in a pocket lighter?
On average, a single piece lasts through several weeks of regular use, or roughly a few hundred strikes. You will know it needs a replacement when the strike wheel becomes difficult to spin or feels like it is slipping smoothly without catching.
Will these replacement stones fit other brands of refillable lighters?
Yes, these are manufactured with a universal generic size profile. They are designed to fit perfectly inside standard pocket lighters, vintage trench styles, and traditional sparking devices that utilize a spring-fed tube design.
Are these Zippo flints authentic USA imports available for delivery in India?
Yes, these are authentic USA imports. Dropy India sources these products directly from trusted suppliers in the USA, ensuring that Indian customers receive genuine merchandise packed in original factory dispensers.
Why is the smart wheel dispenser design beneficial for storing these small parts?
The custom wheel dispenser separates each individual piece into its own secure compartment. This prevents the metallic surfaces from rubbing against each other, which eliminates dust creation and maintains the structural integrity of the alloy.
