    Love this self tanner!

    Okay I wanted to try something else from what I have in the past that will last! This product truly is Gold! Lasted for a week! I applied more after the week to maintain color. I have taken a shower or bath every night didn't wash off. Didn't smell until hours later. I do my self tanner in the am then rinse at bed time and I didn't see any going down the drain in shower. Definitely recommend to others!!

    BALI BODY Clear 1 Hour Express Self Tanner

    Bali Body tanning products have historically been hit or miss for me. Even though I have very pale skin, the darker formulas are the ones that provide the most natural color for me. The medium formulas always make me look unnaturally orange. I usually use mousses with the instant color guide but notice that as I get older and my skin gets dryer, they just don't look as flattering as they once did. After having some really nice results from another clear Bali Body product a few months ago, I was happy to give this one a try.I was able to achieve a nice even result with this product. No off putting strong smells as it developed (some is expected but as long as it's slight, I'm okay with it- as long as I don't think other people can smell me). It has a pleasant scent while applying. It didn't seem to dry my skin out excessively.I wouldn't say that results were rapid. Definitely not within an hour. I noticed a glow within a few hours that fully developed overnight, which is my typical result with most products that claim fast results.With careful application, it didn't excessively grab onto areas like knees, elbows and ankles. I do struggle to get a perfect result in these areas with any product but this one isn't one of the awful ones. I find I get much worse results if I do exfoliate, especially on my knees and elbows. Exfoliation does help somewhat around my ankles but not so great on my toes. I usually use a cotton washcloth while showering and that's enough exfoliation for me. Aggressive exfoliation just serves to give me extremely blotchy results. I also use a bit of hyaluronic acid serum on my knees. That seems to provide better results than putting lotion on those areas and creating a barrier for the product to develop well.Overall, I really like this product and would definitely use it again. I've tried dozens and dozens of tanners over thirty years and this is one of the better ones.
