    THe Mayo Clinic states the recommended daily amount for vitamin C is 75 milligrams (mg) a day for women and 90 mg a day for men. These cover that fully, of course. In such a high dose, Just one capsule is 500mg and the dosing here says 2 a day giving you 1000mg. What your body needs will be absorbed but that should be common knowledge.So, I have been taking only one a day. My multivitamins and other supplements also have Vitamin C so I am not missing anything. Many people believe a higher dose of a vitamin is better With Vitamin C, you are likely getting some from your foods or drinks, the best way, Many people's doctors tell them to up their intake of Vitamin C at the beginning of cold and flu season, and that may be helpful. Taking high doses but still okay. I find these to be generally a good amount that can be altered in dosing, should you want. And your doctor knows best.I have no issues swallowing these, they have no taste or aftertaste to me,but have all the hallmarks of quality! I think they'd be good in your health arsenal!

    Stay healthy!

    Liposomal vitamin C is supposed to be the type the body can absorb the best. I take this daily, and I believe that combined with a healthy diet this helps prevent me from getting sick. I also give to my older kids when they feel under the weather. It is also a great anti-inflammatory for the body which is totally normal. Good quality, worth it for your health

I have been taking Vitamin C in the past in tablet form, chewable form, and as part of multi-nutrient formulas. Now I am trying this product to hopefully get the optimal Vitamin C benefits, especially joint comfort and collagen synthesis, as is stated on the label.Per their website, Bluebonnet Nutritionals which uses USDA organic, non-GMO, and Kosher certified ingredients in their products. They are manufactured in a GMP compliant facility. They have a wide array of products available on their website for all your nutritional needs, as well as 3rd party independent testing for extra assurance.One serving provides 1000mg vitamin C, combined with lipids from sunflower lecithin for better absorption. You should be aware that one serving is 2 capsules, and that the capsules are quite large, measuring about 7/8 inch. There are 45 servings (90 capsules) in the bottle, so that makes it a very good value. but so far, I have not had any issues with it.
