Product details

The BORYLI TV Lamp XL-2200 Replacement Module with Housing is engineered specifically to breathe new life into your legacy Sony Grand WEGA LCD rear-projection television. Over time, original TV lamps fade, leading to dim pictures, washed-out colors, and poor contrast.

This premium equivalent replacement lamp delivers a powerful light source between 100-watt to 120-watt, restoring your screen to its original crisp brightness and vivid color accuracy. Ideal for home theater enthusiasts and DIY repairers, this module features an average operational lifespan ranging from 3,500 to 6,000 hours, ensuring long-term performance and value.

It comes fully integrated inside a durable, matching housing unit, which eliminates the technical hassle of handling bare bulbs and ensures seamless mechanical and electrical alignment with your television's internal docks.

  1. Turn off the television and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Allow the unit to cool completely for at least one hour to prevent thermal injury.
  3. Locate and unscrew the lamp cover door on your television panel.
  4. Loosen the retaining screws securing the old lamp housing assembly and slide it out.
  5. Put on clean protective gloves to prevent hand oils from touching the new quartz glass.
  6. Slide the new BORYLI assembly firmly into the dock until it fully seats, tighten the retaining screws, replace the outer compartment cover, and restore power.

Polyethylene terephthalate housing, aluminized quartz glass reflector, high-intensity discharge mercury arc burner, lead-free copper wiring harness, ceramic insulating terminal block.

    Quick

I obtained this lamp to replace the lamp that went out in my TV. This lamp has been installed for about three weeks now and the picture seems better than the last lamp I changed when it was new. I will buy again from this merchant when the time comes. It was delivered the next day as promised.

    Great light

Exactly as expected. Especially at these prices it's nice to be able to buy 2 at a time for less than the cost of 1 from the TV manufacturer. Works excellent, plus anyone with any common sense should realize that with this kind of product, time of continuous usage and luck have a lot to do with longevity. and you consistently have a backup for when it decides to blow. You just gotta do your research and read the descriptions thoroughly to make sure your ordering the right one for your application. I've purchased many of these type bulbs for multiple size tvs through the years and I've had a couple fail in a a couple of months but I've also had many last a couple years(which could even happen with the very expensive ones).

FAQs

What is the average lifespan of the XL-2200 replacement lamp module?

The replacement lamp module offers an average operational lifespan of 3,500 to 6,000 hours. Proper ventilation around your television enclosure and regular dust cleaning help maximize this performance window.

Why is it recommended to wear gloves when installing a replacement TV bulb?

Wearing clean gloves prevents natural skin oils from transferring onto the quartz glass surface of the bulb. If oils are present, they create localized hot spots when the lamp heats up, which can cause premature failure or cracking.

Does this replacement module require assembly or transferring the old housing?

No, this product comes fully assembled with the replacement bulb pre-installed inside a new dedicated housing unit. It is designed as a direct plug-and-play drop-in component for your convenience.
