  Good Price/Performance...

  I workout 3 to 5 times a week. Recently, in order to lower my cholesterol, I eliminated all meat and dairy from my diet. I needed a good source of protein and decided to do smoothies. I make my smoothies in a blender and they consist of pea protein and some frozen fruit. I first tried Now Sports Pea Protein Vanilla Toffee and found it to be good, but it contained an artificial sweetener and salt. I looked into other options and I am glad that I decided to try Bulk Supplements pea protein (unflavored) instead of the Now Sports pea protein (unflavored).The quality of Bulk Supplements Pea Protein is good. Bulk Supplements is the same or a bit finer in texture than Now Sports (my understanding is all pea proteins have a bit of a gritty texture). Price is great. Bulk Supplements provided more by weight at a lower price than Now Sports. Note that Bulk Supplements has 30 grams with 24 grams of protein which is better than one scoop of Now Sports Vanilla Toffee at 41 grams with 25 grams of protein or unflavored at 33 grams with 24 grams of protein. Interestingly, when comparing by volume, Bulk Supplements had much more volume than what I imagined 100 grams would be, so maybe more servings too. I have had success with using Bulk Supplements pea protein in my smoothies -- no strange or pea flavors when mixed with some frozen fruit.With regards to delivery, all went fine. The package arrived on time and in good condition. Everything is clearly labeled.Overall, I will be purchasing more of Bulk Supplements Pea Protein.Update 11/20/2015: Just received my second order of Pea Protein. Good product. Works well in my smoothies.

  24 Grams of Protein! Complete Protein. Doesn't Coagulate in Coffee!

  I am a fan of yellow pea protein because it is a complete protein. Also, it can be made thick to the consistency of milk--in cold enough water, it is bland and tastes like a reasonable replacement for milk. At room temperature, it just tastes kind of bland, but that's okay. I'm in it for the nutritional benefit of a complete protein source at a great price, However, when you mix it with instant coffee (as I experimented with), I found that it didn't coagulate like whey protein does when it comes in contact with water that's too hot. So, that makes it superior for use in coffee or hot cocoa compared to whey protein. Also, compared to a half gallon of milk, it's also a bargain for the protein. However, there's only 1 gram of fat and one gram of carbohydrate per serving (if I recall correctly), which means that one has to replace any fats or carbohydrates in one's diet to the extent desired if switching from dairy.My suggestion for getting the equivalent fats found in dairy would be a tablespoon of coconut oil, MCT oil, or sunflower oil.

  Good Protein Powder Choice

  This is a good product. High protein, no carbs, no flavoring or sweeteners, just mixes in to everything with no problem. Lately I've been adding it to my "peanuts only" peanut butter (which is surprisingly runny) - it helps to thicken it up and keep it on my cracker
