  Calms irritated skin

  I've been using these on very irritated, reactive skin, and they provided quick, noticeable relief. The pads feel well-made and flexible, conforming easily to the face without sliding. They are somewhat thicker mask and absorbency is excellent with each pad being saturated, and there's plenty of leftover essence in the container without feeling watery or diluted. Good value.

  Truly calming and beneficial for sensitive skin

  These calming pads from Dr. Althea are yet another excellent product from this brand. I have come to trust Dr. Althea for gentle but effective skincare, and this product is no exception. I have sensitive skin and rosacea, so finding brands and products that don't irritate my skin can be a challenge, because so many brands include ingredients that shouldn't be in skin care, such as fragrance and essential oils. Dr. Althea does none of that. These calming pads are packed with ingredients that truly nurture the skin, including arginine, asiatic acid, camellia sinensis leaf extract, central asiatic extract, and more. These ingredients soothe and hydrate the skin and also have anti-aging properties. You can feel good about using this product, as these pads truly help calm the skin. I have used them when my rosacea is acting up a bit, and they definitely make a difference. While I primarily use them for their calming effect, these pads also make my skin feel very soft and smooth, which is a nice plus. While they offer some hydration and moisturizing effects, I would say it is light hydration. I still use my heavy-duty night cream after using these pads, in addition to my moisturizing serum, and it's not too much for my dry skin. They are competitively priced for products in this category, so I do find that they offer good value for the money.

  Definitely recommend

  The pad is very thin so it doesn't feel heavy on your face. Even though it is thin, it leaves your skin very hydrated and glowy after taking it off. This is a perfect step for your skincare routine and the quality is very good. The pad is soft and very easy to stretch.

  fragrance-free, soothing pads calm skin and provide non-sticky hydration

  These fragrance-free, simple pads have a texture like tighter-woven stretchy gauze, and feel so soothing on hot or irritated skin. When stretched they are the perfect size to stretch over my nose and apples of my cheeks, which happen to be the areas of my skin that get irritated and pink. The toner/serum that these are soaked in is watery and doesn't leave stickiness or any texture at all once the pad is removed and it absorbs. I love how well these work for non-greasy, light hydration after a long day, or in the morning before doing my whole skincare routine. Quality ingredients with no red flags. The pads are a bit difficult to unfold, but the container comes with both a small tweezer for hygienic dispensing and a little spatula with a bit of a velcro-like end that grips the pad and makes unfolding simpler.
