    Flat antenna

    I needed an antenna for a stupid TV because most seemed to be designed for "smart" TVs and included hookups which my TV didn't have. My TVs are not exactly old, but they still work and are flat screens. I also do not have wifi at home which is a reoccurring issue which I somewhat resent. I use my phone for most of the web and don't see the point of paying for internet and TV when I hardly ever get to sit down and use it. I tried a hard plastic one which I hung out the window and worked well but fell apart and when I bought a new one I had to return it as it didn't work with my TV. I figured this thin flappy antenna which was much like my original would probably work because it too is "old" compared to other models. The thing works fantastistically. I get more channels than I did with the hard model and it's light weight, no banging on the side of the house and it actually works inside which nothing seemed to do very well before. It came with a long cord so you have a good range to work with. It did come with a USB connection which I could use with my TV and it still works great even without wifi. It obviously has the basic antenna connection. Overall I'm very happy with this bit of simplistic technology. I have about 60 channels of free television and thats good enough for me. I live in the countryside with a lot of trees so I didn't expect miracles.

    60+ Sharp Channel Reception

    This product really works! Solid construction with a magnetic base that attaches firmly on my windowsill. It's not made of cheap plastic. Took minutes to install, and picked up over 60 channels. I live a city, so I imagine the digital signals are stronger. You don't get premium subscription channels, but you do get all the network channels and many other channels. There is a onscreen channel menu guide that shows you exactly what TV shows are being received. What you get is clearly broadcast, enhanced basic cable TV stations, at no cost - which is exactly what I wanted.When you unbox the antenna, be aware that there is a protective orange tip on the top of the base screw joint. It took me a minute to realize that it needs to be removed, in order to screw the antenna into the base. It looked like something that was part of the product, and I couldn't figure out at first how the antenna attached to the base. Initially thought there was a problem with the antenna I received.

    This indoor antenna indeed functions very properly.

    This indoor antenna actually works very well. It picks up basically all available channels and the signal is clear and stable. But the packaging and labeling are quite terrible though. The amplifier is not detachable for option 1 installation.
