  3. Apply quickly and evenly to dry hair. 3.
  4. Process for 20 minutes; use heat to potentially shorten time to 10 minutes. 4.
  5. Wipe the mixture off with a towel to evaluate the color. 5.
  6. If color remains, reapply. 6.
  7. Once the desired level is reached, rinse thoroughly and apply the Neutralizer to a test strand to confirm all pigment is removed.
  8. If the hair does not darken, wash all hair with shampoo 2-3 times and apply Neutralizer to all hair for 3-5 minutes, then rinse.
