  1. Turn off the television and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  2. Allow the television to cool completely for at least one hour to prevent thermal injury.
  3. Locate and unscrew the lamp cover on the rear or side panel of your television.
  4. Loosen the retaining screws securing the old lamp housing and gently pull the assembly straight out.
  5. Slide the new FI Lamps housing unit into the compartment, ensuring the electrical connectors align and seat firmly.
  6. Tighten the retaining screws, replace the exterior lamp cover, restore power, and reset the internal lamp timer via the television system settings menu.

    i am very satisfied with my obtain of the tv lamp

    After about 6 years the bulb in our Samsung DLP finally went. I took a chance ordering an off brand, but as far as I can tell the risk has paid off.The bulb arrived effectively packaged and stamped 'made in Mexico' which is where the Samsung DLP was produced. I contacted the merchant who responded reasonably swift. The bulb shut down several times that first week and it displayed an annoying flicker on the screen. It doesn't appear to be OEM, but it still seems am pleased with a quality product. However, the bulb's problems then abruptly disappeared. Maybe it won't last 5 years enjoy the worn bulb, but I kind of doubt the TV will last that much longer either. Perhaps it just required a break in period.We've been using this bulb for almost 5 months now without issue. I installed it without any issues and everything was up and running within 10 minutes.And here's where it got odd.

    Wonderful Item

    Very delighted with this item. I have ordered this same bulb 3 times now (July 6 2018, Feb 14, 2020 and last week). Yours will too if you monitor your image settings properly. It lasts about a year or longer each time. I did notice that if I changed the settings to make the snapshot brighter then the life of the bulb did change.This last delivery included a free shipment of masks "built in the USA". Mine all lasted for about a year or more. I loved that surprise.

    I got a free TV that only required a inexpensive bulb.

    Someone was giving away this Samsung DLP TV so I picked it up. Screen was extremely dim so I opened it up and cleaned as much of the optics as I could and all the other dust that had accumulated inside. For this reason I could not justify the $80 OEM lamp, the TV is 13 years former. I will update if it fails early. According to the help menu the previous lamp had 9,800 hrs, it looked original. I recommend cleaning as much as you can. I am giving this to my college student for his house. I installed this new lamp and with the cleaning it is certainly much brighter, at least 50%.
