    Great for fixing breaks

    This nail repair tape is great for fixing breaks and adding small amounts of length to broken nails.It's sticky enough to adhere well to my nail bed and stay in place while I'm applying glue, builder gel or acrylic to repair the break. I'm able to get my glue/gel/acrylic to soak into the tape easily, which reduces air bubbles and helps prevent greenies.The fibers are strong and don't rip easily, which helps reinforce the repair. It works well enough that I'm able to do my own repairs, which helps me keep my nails long and beautiful without going to the salon for pricey professional repairs.It also works well to add very small amounts of length, which is great if I break off a corner of my nail or want to exptend the length a tiny bit without using a tip or nail form.Overall this is a useful product at a great price.

    Product is a stated

    It almost like the silk is magnetic m. Once I apply the nail resin, and don't forget that. Don't use nail glue because it's too stiff and make the nail rigid and break faster. But once I applied the resin and let it dry, I cut a piece of silk, felt like a surgeon because you have to be precise lol. But it was like the silk was drawing towards my nails. Kind of odd but cool. I plenty of silk wrap for future repairs. I had grown my nails out pretty long and my nail broke in two places. It held together until I washed my hair and then it broke again and sadly I had to restart my nails again. I applied silk wrap and applied some more resin and waited 3 minutes and then filed to smooth it. It probably would have been better with a drill but I used a nail filer. But I think it would be better for shorter nails because with the nail hanging over the free edge, it doesn't have much support. But currently I used it on my new short nails and it holding together but we will see when I wash my hair. But I decided to keep it for future repair because if it breaks too far down you have no other choice but to do a repair even if it lasts for a short while until it grows out.
