    Finally Fixed My Splitting Nail

    Helped repair a nail that would consistently split at the edge. I've had to wear gel/acrylic nails for so long because one nail kept splitting from an old cut/damage. This fiberglass wrap actually worked. You can see a slightly uneven surface where the fiberglass is, but it's barely noticeable unless you look closely. Great find, I'm really happy to finally have a solution that works.

    Perfect

    I use these to make repairs to just about anything. This particular order was for a coffee mug. I use this along with super glue. These two things combined is perfect to fix a handle. It gives the added strength from one side to the other, across the break, lessening the chances of another break.

    Applying with dual forms and hard gel - Worked Great!

    I used these for the first time and they worked really well. I taught myself to do poly extension gel nails, gel x tips, and I do them a couple times per week. While I use peel off base coat to make removal easier, I still noticed my natural nails were looking a bit rough. I watched a couple videos and decided to give silk a try as a protective layer with hard gel. I cut the wrap to fit the nail, prepped the nail with dehydrator and primer. I used base coat gel and before curing, I placed the silk on the nail and used a dual form to form the silk on my nail, flash cured it to stay in place and then cured it in my full power lamp. I removed the dual form, put the hard gel into the dual form and then flashed cured that on top of the nail and then cured. When I removed the dual form, I had this lovely nail. I added more on top without the dual form and when it was done, it looked like my natural nail! I couldn't believe it. I did it to all my nails and they look healthy! Crazy. I will be using these from now on to save my natural nails!

    What a great idea!

    The things people think of! Fiberglass nail repair strips/extensions. Never heard of them. But I started doing my nails more at home so I figured I'd they worked, what a great addition to my growing salon.I'll admit I was a bit nervous to try these. Especially since I've never used them before. But I cracked a nail and I wasn't ready to change my set yet, so that was a great time to experiment. Worst case, I was putting a new nail on. But I didn't have to! I cut a piece off a strip and used glue to apply it. Once it was dry, i filed and buffed a little. Applied color then a top coat and you couldn't even tell! It was amazing.
