To me, the pills are a bit on the big side but that could be because I have a hard time with swallowing pills in general. But anyway, I LOVE this supplement. My doctor mentions that my hormones are all over the place as I am far too young with high blood sugar for someone that does not have diabetes in their family and he mentioned I am severely anemic due to my ridiculous menstrual bleeding. Not to mention that I am also suffering depression, sudden weight gain, and scalp hair loss. My doctor suspected I may be suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). He prescribed me metformin to battle my A1C and an antidepressant with a diet change.I learned about inositol online and I first ran into Ovasitol but the brand costed far too much money. This product is much more affordable. Ever since I started taking this product, my menstrual bleeding has regulated, the debilitating cramps subsided to normalcy (not buckling over in pain in tears and just the normal "let me get my heating blanket and a cup of tea" kind of cramps), and it teamed up with my antidepressant and I feel like my normal self again. It's a hormone balancer! I've not gone back to get another blood test to see where my blood sugar is since taking this supplement but I have not been taking it for long-only 2 weeks, close to a month. I'm giving it 3 whole months before I go back for another blood test to see where my sugar levels are.Inositol is a supplement that is supposed to be a helpful A1C dropper so, I'm hoping to see what it is able to do. It's helping boost my mood and it's helping regulating my weird menstrual cycles so, it's a keeper! Even my mom is happy for me! It's even helping combat my hormonal, cystic acne. I also felt no real side effects other than drowsiness but that's just me. It could affect others. I should have checked with my doctor before I took this supplement but at the time, I was desperate to combat my issue. Always check with your doctor first before taking a supplement!

When being diagnosed with PCOS in 2020, my endocrinologist recommended I take inositol to manage symptoms along with nac and vitamin d3. Buying this brand over the years (and being more serious with my health over this past year), has really helped me with my insulin sensitivity, weight (lost over 8lbs and still going), less acne, and my mood. I also love how it's affordable as well as how natural the pills are without additives. Would recommend this to anyone.

Most supplements are hit or miss, it doesn't matter who you buy them from that is just the nature of them. Be it a change in manufacturing ingredients or simply our body developing a tolerance nullifying the effects; We aren't guaranteed anything when we buy these kinds of alternative health products but for many of us these products are a last resort to dealing with chronic conditions.A good business tries to manage that uncertainty through open communications with consumers and I believe this company does just that.It's an American owned business so that's a plus. Mark Miller is the proprietor and a man willing to get hands on with resolving consumer issues which I like.These supplements work as well as any other for me so I am more invested in the business that tries to reassure me by listening to my feedback than the one that promises their pill is the magic one to heal all ailments.I take these supplements with DIM to balance my hormones and counter the symptoms of PCOS. I can't say if it's balancing my hormones as I don't have the means to perform a blood sample but I'm less brain fogged and more energetic so I'm benefitting from my current regiment.I'd say buy this brand to support local business in the US if you're an American. We've had a rough few years and I feel a sense of comfort in supporting a family that could easily be my neighbor.

This is a good myo/d-chiro inositol supplement, they're just not the best product for me. These were easy to swallow and helped with my hirsutism. However, there was no noticeable difference with weight management, mood, nor did they help with my debilitating cramps. My cycle is pretty regular and I'd actually say this product helped shorten my cycle length which usually ranges between 30-35 days but was averaging 27-29 days when using Forest Leaf. I'd continue using this product but there's another product that helps my debilitating cramps and being able to live a normal life during my cycle means more to me than the benefits that Forest Leaf provides. Also, my A1-C was within normal range while using Forest Leaf. So, if you're having issues that could benefit from this product, give it a shot. I'm sure you won't be disappointed, but as for right now, I'm going back to the product that's a couple dollars more but eases my cramping. Good luck, Cysters!

I used to take both myo-inositol and d-chiro inositol before and during my last pregnancy because of PCOS. I never truly saw major physical advantages of it, but I was able to conceive and carry our son full term (after 3 early miscarriages). I also had gestational diabetes during the pregnancy and with watching my diet and blood test monitoring I did not need to have a high risk doctor for delivery; in fact, the high risk doctor was impressed by my numbers and I also didn't gain an extremely high amount of weight during the pregnancy. Now that my son is 20 months old, I started taking these supplements again from Forest Leaf and although I wish there were less pills a day, it seems they are helping. My weight shifted downward a little bit...which, if you have PCOS, you know that can be a huge milestone even if it finally goes down 2-3 lbs. The supplements are easy enough to swallow and I appreciate that they are made in the US and don't have a bunch of unnecessary fillers. I am on my second month of using these and will see if they continue to make a difference.
