A complete and craftsmanship box to improve your on air HD TV viewing

This sleek boxed shaped HDTV antenna replaced an old, ugly and flat window antenna. The company shipped the item with easy install instructions and hardware, and only took minutes to replace the old antenna. Unlike the old HDTV antenna, this one quickly found HD air stations and kept the picture stable and distortion free. Being located in a hilly area, it found most popular stations, but not ABC and PBS, perhaps due to obstacles; the old antenna had the same issue and I will continue moving the new antenna to face the TV broadcast towers. Key points for me: Looks great, ease of use, good quality and price. No wonder it is a high seller on Dropy.

Effortless Setup and Functions Enjoy a Charm

This over-air TV broadcast antenna was easy to set-up and works perfectly. It has two input cables, a standard coax cable that attaches to the antenna in jack on the television and a USB-A connector that connects to ANY USB source that provides 5 VDC (pretty much all of them). I attached the USB (power) cable to a USB port on my television, but you can attach it to most any USB power block plugged into an outlet - like those used to charge cell phones. The one thing to know is that most modern televisions have the capability to scan the antenna input for both over-air signals and cable box signals. They are not the same and you have to be sure that the television is scanning for over-air ('antenna') signals. My LG OLED television automagically scanned for both types of signals and found all the available over-air broadcasts on the first try. I had the range switch on the antenna booster box on 'short range' for my scan. The instructions suggest starting with the short-range setting and going to long-range only if you are having trouble picking up towers beyond 35 miles away or so. Note that the short-range setting is likely to enhance the ability to receive channels in full HD. I have to say that I was amazed by the HD quality of the channels that I was able to receive, obviously just the ones that were broadcast in HD to begin with. One last observation; the instructions suggest that you start with the antenna in or near a window. In my case, I ran my first scan with the antenna box on the floor next to my television and picked up every station within 30 miles. Even the station I wanted the most, which was essentially 10 miles away on the other side of my very large house. For this reason, I believe the sensitivity of this antenna product is excellent.

  Works well

The Antenna works well. Its not that bulky and faily small. Its very easy to use and easy to hang on the wall, it includes parts for it. Range varies on your location. We live a little outside of the city limits so we don't get as much channels compared to being in the city. We took the antenna to my parents home ( in town) and it worked much better there. At first we had a hard time picking channels with good connection. So we tried different options to improve connectivity. As we moved the antenna around, we realized if it was by the window we had better connection. The instructions also indicated that you could place it outside, to improve connection. We were actually able to pick up more channels with better connection. Overall it works well as an antenna.
