Product details

Description

Herbatint Permanent Haircolor Gel in 6N Dark Blonde offers Indian consumers a salon-quality, gentle alternative for achieving natural-looking hair color at home. Specially formulated for individuals with sensitive skin or those looking to avoid harsh chemicals, this vegan hair dye provides up to one hundred percent coverage even on stubborn, resistant gray hair.

The unique gel formula is enriched with eight pure organic herbal extracts, including Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel, and Echinacea, which work synergistically to protect the scalp, condition the strands, and enhance color retention during the coloring process. Unlike conventional hair dyes, it is entirely free from ammonia, alcohol, parabens, and gluten, ensuring a pleasant, low-odor application that maintains the structural integrity of your hair.

The non-drip gel format allows for precise application, and the resealable bottles mean you can easily mix only the required amount, saving the remaining product for future root touch-ups. Included with the color is the Royal Cream conditioning treatment, an acidic pH solution that seals the cuticles to lock in the rich dark blonde reflections and deliver a long-lasting, brilliant shine.

How to use

  1. Combine equal parts of the Herbatint color gel and the developer glycol in a plastic or glass bowl using a measuring cup.
  2. Stir until a smooth gel consistency is achieved.
  3. Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair, starting at the roots and focusing on gray areas.
  4. Leave the product to process for forty minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs completely clear.
  6. Apply the included Royal Cream conditioner, leave it on for five minutes, and then rinse out.

    Ash chestnut natureherbatint

Sorry can never remember the name but finally settled on Ash Chestnut to avoid ginger. Wish the larger conditioner bottle came with it consistently because ends get dry. Easier than powder henna. ⭐️ 1 star= Dissappointed. I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some reedeeming quality. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = It's passable. Might not have bothered. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars = Mostly Satisified. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars = Entirely Satisfied. Recommend.

Great for anyone needing low ammonia hair color just be ready to play with the colors until you f...

I have been getting my hair colored at the salon for years until the last year or so. My hair started falling out and after getting all these tests ran at the doctors office I couldn't pinpoint the problem. Until I was so embarrassed about going to the salon and decided to start doing it myself. I tried herbatint, which has low ammonia 3%. To my surprise, no hair fell out. I was so thrilled. After using this for a year, my hair has finally grown back and it is not thin anymore. As far as the color goes, I just use it to color my grey. No more fancy highlights for me since I can't do them at home. I do add two N colors together and it gives me a little bit of a hightlight. To cover grey you HAVE to get the N series. I have medium brown hair with a little bit of golden highlights. I use 4n and 6n. I mix 6 parts 4n to 2 parts 6N. My natural color is a darker brown. It does come out a little dark at first but will lighten over several washes. If you get too light a color, after several washes it will be too light. It took me a long time and several different boxes of color to get it right for me. I now just do touch ups on my roots every couple of months for the new growth and I love it.

    3N Dark Chestnut over Ombré

*UPDATE* It's been 3 washes since and it's definitely turning into the brown chestnut color. Which colors usually do, meaning the brown chestnut will last longer. It grabbed onto my previously colored hair slightly darker but that's normal and expected. Not so obvious. I went with 3N to be safe after reading reviews but because I prefer the look of the fresh 3N color being darker I will purchase the 2N next time hoping it'll fade into what the first day of 3N looked like. So, it is the color they advertised it to be.. Dark Chestnut Brown, just allow a few washes. I used color 3N Dark Chestnut to cover my ombré and 3 inches of grown out roots. 2 photos are of the freshly colored hair taken in outdoor light, other 2 are to show my previous color inside and outside. I agree with another reviewer, those who have dark brown to black hair know the difference of each shade. I prefer the darker side, the exact color I got. Cooler brown, has a green tint in color to cancel out the brassy orange color in my ombre. Looks like a super dark warm brown in the sun. It looks a shade above jet black indoors. So those who are afraid of the color being dark indoors, go look outside. Having experience with this color from other companies where I used 3N only 10 volume back then, it does lighten up and the chestnut and sun are showing what it'll look like as it fades. Which if you don't mind black and want it to last longer, then go 2N. Just expect it to be cooler darker brown longer. (Depending on your undertone history..) If you MUST have it fade faster, get a clarifying shampoo and wash in warm/hot water to strip it faster. Just get a good salon quality conditioner and hair mask to keep hair healthy. None of that grocery store crap.. Easy to use. My gloves provided ripped so if that matters get thicker gloves. I did it by myself so there's some parts I missed thoroughly where I had the brassy color. But I'm getting new extensions in 2 weeks so I wasn't too concerned with my ends as I was my roots. I used 3/4 of the bottles. The last quarter would be good for just roots. I'd definitely use this color again.. I'll see how it fades, but the sun usually is very telling where it's headed and I like it! Also, I used the whole conditioner pack and lots of my own conditioner (Davines). It felt very dry washing out that my hair tangled in the shower but extra conditioner sitting for 2+ minutes did the trick and keep that up to maintain healthy hair.

Wonderful choice that I should have taken longtime ago

I am very satisfied with this product. One of the best things is that it doesn't smell like this terrible ammonia that I had to leave the bathroom because I couldn't even breathe, those things are so dangerous but with this it feels so good and the result color is so amazing (light blond) . I really love it so I'm subscribed now and I will not change this. Also with the balm included my hair is so soft and wonderful. My scalp was always irritated but now it feels amazing. Thank you.
