FAQs
Why Use Plastic?
Plastic tools are preferred for delicate electronics repair because they are non-conductive and anti-static, protecting internal components from short circuits. Additionally, plastic is softer than the glass or metal housings of modern smartphones and laptops, ensuring you can pry components apart without scratching the screen or marring the casing.
What are the exact dimensions of the tools included in this repair kit?
The comprehensive kit features four triangular guitar-style opening picks with a diameter of approximately 32 millimeters. It also includes eight versatile plastic spudger sticks ranging in length from 83 millimeters to 87 millimeters to help you access various depths inside your devices.
Can these spudgers be used to remove laptop batteries?
Yes, these anti-static spudgers are ideal for prying up glued-down laptop and smartphone batteries. Because they are made from high-density plastic, they eliminate the dangerous risk of puncturing the protective battery casing, which could otherwise cause a thermal reaction if a metal tool were used.
Is this Louishy repair tool kit an authentic imported item available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic USA-imported product. Dropy India sources all its products directly from authorized distributors in the United States, ensuring Indian consumers receive genuine international tools and beauty care essentials.
Are the opening picks flexible enough to glide under phone screens?
The triangular opening picks feature tapered edges that are thin enough to slide underneath tightly sealed mobile phone displays. They provide the ideal balance of flexibility and rigidity to slice through factory adhesive without bending out of shape.
