  1. Turn off the television and disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
  2. Allow the television system to cool down completely for at least one hour, as internal projection components reach exceptionally high temperatures.
  3. Wear clean protective gloves to prevent transferring oils to the glass bulb surfaces.
  4. Locate the lamp compartment cover on the back or side of your television, unscrew the retention fasteners, and gently slide out the old worn out module.
  5. Insert the new replacement housing assembly into the slot, ensuring all internal electrical contact terminals seat firmly and securely.
  6. Fasten the retention screws back into position, close the outer compartment door, plug in the power cord, and reset your television unit lamp timer following the standard manufacturer menu settings.

    Total junk product and waste of money!!! Item and insurance scam!!!

    New story! I almost forgot that I had a issue. It was improper!I understood from Dropy.com CS that I should contact the supplier as it has 200-days warranty but they didn't provide direct contact. Where can I return the former bulbs for recycling?Worn story: This bulb lasted less than a day. You are splendid, Alice, COOBAN, for supporting me on this issue. It makes me feel good about myself that I can solve some simple problems with help. Hopefully, someone will contact me. Alas! So, I had to write this review. My anxiety is gone! Working awesomely!!! I was ok for not many hours of viewing but next day I found it dead.I failed to request refund because I thought I did!

    Replace the lights

    It has been a a handful of years since I had to replace a bulb on this TV, and it's been easy in the past.The quality of the bulb and housing is sufficient, however the screws for some reason work lining up properly. But that seemed to fix it.I'm glad the prices have gone down I will purchase another one in a few years. I had to take the old screws out of the old housing and replace the screws that was delivered with the design. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't setting in nicely.
