  1. Perform an allergy alert test 48 hours before each application.
  2. Mix the colorant and developer in the provided applicator bottle.
  3. Apply the mixture evenly starting at the roots and work through to the ends.
  4. Leave on for 30 minutes, or up to 45 minutes for resistant or gray hair.
  5. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear and apply the included conditioner.

    Silky, soft hair

    So last time I went to the salon and got my hair dyed, the one thing I hated was how dry my hair felt after I came home. (Luckily I had some argan oil treatments in my house that helped.) So when it comes to hair dye I am not hopping out of my seat because dry hair is a struggle for me as it is, I don't need it to be worse.I was curious to see what I would look like with black hair and I tried this due to the advertisements claiming how well it conditions your hair in each step. It is not just an advertisement! My hair feels so soft and looks so silky smooth. I absolutely love it!I just used the dye a day ago so I cannot comment on longevity at the moment. But right now, the fact that it didn't completely dry out my hair is a win win on it's own.

    Moisturizing, Rich Color -- BUT maybe use Your Own mix/applicator

    I'm so surprised that I am this happy with a hair coloring. My hair can be so very dry and despite the positive reviews, a part of me shuddered at the thought of any hair coloring.I only have a tiny 1/4 inch spot of gray hair, so I usually just "suck it up" and dye-- but even the most natural versions of hair dyes have proven messy, drying and unreliable in terms of consistent coloring.But NOT this time :-). With Olia, my hair was softer, prettier and kind of glowed. The color of the tiny dyed spot and my regular hair matched so beautifully, too.If you have off-black hair (often described as 1B when matching your hair to clip-in buns), then this is the color for you.I took a cue from the other reviewers, so I didn't use the shaker bottle to blend and apply. I used my own plastic container with a wider opening, and used a dying brush applicator instead. Since I don't use that much when I dye my trouble spot, this winds up being an excellent value for my needs.Hope this helps.

    Color is perfect

    Takes fast and last long unless you have jet black hair. Your roots will show gray faster. Other then that I love this color
