Orgain Clear Whey Isolate Protein Powder Tropical Punch 22 Grams Protein 0 Grams Sugar Suitable For Lactose Intolerance 18.4 Ounces 18 Servings

I had high hopes for this as I already use several Orgain products and love them all. This clear protein drink did not disappoint! I don't normally like fruit punch flavored items but this fruit punch actually tastes good. It's a subtle tropical fruit juice taste that would honestly taste really good with rum, but I guess that's not what it's designed for.So it's soy free, no artificial sweeteners (uses stevia and a sweetener from rice fermentation), no artificial colors (beetroot, carrot and turmeric provide the color) and has no anti-foaming agents. It's also suitable if you're lactose intolerant. There was a little foam but not enough to care about. 22 grams of whey protein for 100 calories, yes please.I love that Orgain has a clear protein. Sometimes a person doesn't want a chocolate or vanilla protein drink. This feels like something you could drink as a mocktail if you put it in a pretty glass with an umbrella. The color is quite lovely and muted so it definitely deserves to be seen in a clear glass!I read that Orgain is also coming out with a watermelon version of this and I'll definitely be trying that as well. In the meantime, I'll be ordering this again.Side note: the expiration date is 04/2028 so two years out.

The tropical punch flavor is very sweet, has a smooth texture and fills this particular space as a clear protein supplement quite well and here are some thoughts:The Orgain Clear Whey Isolate Protein Powder offers a highly efficient, refreshing departure from dense, milky shakes by utilizing heavily filtered whey isolate to deliver a translucent, juice-like beverage. Each single-scoop serving delivers an impressive 22g of protein against just 100 calories, presenting an optimal macronutrient ratio for lean muscle maintenance and post-workout recovery. The formula differentiates itself structurally by omitting common industry additives such as soy, sucralose, artificial colors, and silicon dioxide. Crucially, by deliberately excluding synthetic anti foaming agents, the mixture retains a light, natural layer of foam upon agitation, verifying its clean ingredient profile while remaining entirely suitable for users across the board who are managing lactose intolerance. Overall, it works for my needs and am satisfied, especially as it mixes super easily and didn't have any chunks or clumps are some alternatives so in this space. From a practical and economic standpoint, this 10.1 oz container provides an ample 18 servings, which at this price point is fairly decent but by no means amazing. For the flavor though, I genuinely really like it, nutritional value is superb, overall, this is a high quality clear protein supplement especially at this price point.

This is something that has been lacking from the mainstream protein supplements market. Yes, there are some out there and has been for awhile. I like the ones I've tried, but they aren't as "available" and the brands are not as well known as Orgain.I have used Orgain products almost since they started! It's a brand I have trusted over the years. I have been on long term weight loss and fitness journeys and I am a vegetarian that looks to get extra protein by using meal replacement shakes, protein bars, and other protein drinks/smoothies on a daily basis. Now that Orgain has come out with their version of the Fruit Flavored Protein Supplements, they should be easily obtainable and a nice change of pace from the typical Chocolate and Vanilla Shakes. This fruit punch flavor is actually really good. It's quite refreshing. I mixed it up with a little extra water, add ice and keep it in the blender bottle with the blenderball to keep it mixed well. 22 grams of protein for 100 calories.I'm removing one star, not because it's not a good product, it is…but there's a couple things I was slightly disappointed about that's worth mentioning. The name ORGAIN had become synonymous with ORGANIC products and this one isn't, not fully anyway. Also although I looked at their packaging front and back, and did not know they added Collagen Peptides (Bovine) until I read the ingredient list. .I'm sure this is a plus for many, but not for me. I wish it would have been something they mentioned with all the other information on the front and back of the bag. I do use whey protein, I am not Vegan, but not fond of the collagen additive as a person who steers clear of a LOT of animal products in my food Also, I wish they had used a real natural sweetener and avoided that artificial aftertaste…there are still a lot of good things to love about the product though. Pricepoint is good too!

This clear whey isolate is a light, fruit punch-flavored protein powder that mixes easily with water, making it a fantastic, refreshing alternative to heavy chocolate or vanilla shakes. Light and Refreshing: The tropical punch flavor is a wonderful change of pace from traditional heavy, creamy dessert flavors.- Water-Friendly Convenience: It is specifically designed to mix with plain water rather than milk, making it highly portable and perfect for on-the-go hydration.- Fair Pricing: At $37.99 for 18 servings, it works out to about $2.11 per serving, which aligns perfectly with the cost of other premium organic protein brands.- No Artificial Junk: Suitable for those with lactose intolerance, and free from soy, artificial colors, or anti-foaming agents. It's an excellent, high-quality buy for anyone looking to break up the monotony of milky protein shakes with a clean, fruity option.

I just got the perfect time to try this.I'm a 51 year old woman who is working on losing weight while retaining the muscle I have and also build new muscle. It's hard to build muscle in a deficit and you really have to focus on taking in enough protein. It's not easy to get in enough protein, especially when it tends to be very satiating. Things like protein drinks and bars make this easier, especially when you just don't feel like you can face another piece of meat, egg, or scoop of cottage cheese at the moment. This morning, I woke up nauseated, for whatever reason. Hours later, still nauseated but hungry, I started taking mental inventory of what I had to eat. Each item turned my stomach. Even the thought of trying to suck down a protein shake made my stomach turn.Perfect time to whip out the clear protein! The flavor I have is tropical punch. I mixed it with the suggested 16 ounces of water and was surprised when it turned pink. Fruit punch has always been red, in my experience. This looks like pink lemonade, which I also love. I don't mind the pink, it just surprised me.The directions say to put this in a shaker bottle to shake and then allow 30-60 seconds to "settle". I wasn't sure what needed to "settle" after shaking. My first thought was unmixed powder and I wondered why I would want that.Nope, it's gets really frothy! That's fine. Now I know what needs to settle and thankfully, it isn't powder.I poured it over ice and took my first sip and was pleasantly surprised. It's not overly sweet and in fact, has that slight burn in the throat you get from tart drinks. At least, that's the sensation I get. It reminds me a bit of Crystal Light, in terms of sweetness, tartness and lightness of flavor. If you want it a little stronger, just cut back on the water a bit.The protein count, 22 grams, may not be as much as my other shakes, which have 30 grams of protein, buts it's still pretty impressive. It's a great way to boost your protein count without that sickeningly thick texture that some shakes have that leave you feeling uncomfortably full. It's just a nice, fruity tasting drink that just so happens to have a good amount of protein. And, for days like today, when I want to maintain progress but am repulsed by the thought of ingesting traditional protein sources? It comes in clutch! It satisfied both my thirst and my hunger and didn't upset my already upset tummy.First serving in and I already love this stuff!
