Orgain Organic Nutritional Shake Sweet Vanilla Bean Meal Replacement Ready To Drink Sixteen Grams Grass Fed Protein Eleven Ounce Four Count

Updated November 24, 2024: Still ordering this and still drinking it! Overall, this is the best ready-to-drink protein shake out there in the dairy category. The ingredients are organic, the milk protein is from grass-fed cows, and the taste is absolutely delicious.I have tried almost every dairy and non-dairy protein shake out there. The vast majority of them are not organic, have artificial sweeteners and contain questionable thickeners like carrageenan, an inflammatory substance. The Orgain has small amounts of locust bean and gellan gums, which may or cause a problem for some, but I have not experienced any issues. The only two ingredients I wish were not in the product are brown rice syrup and high-oleic sunflower oil. The brown rice syrup because of the potential arsenic concentration, although thankfully the main sweetener here seems to be the organic cane sugar. The sunflower oil because it's a PUFA and PUFA's have inflammatory effects on the body. However, I drink it because at least Orgain uses High-Oleic sunflower oil, which is a form of sunflower oil where the polyunsaturate content has been decreased and and the monounsaturated content has been increased. So that reduces it's inflammatory effects and makes it safer to consume. Still, if I had the choice, I could do without either the rice syrup or the sunflower oil.But on balance, this is a good product and has good nutrition, although at only 16 grams of protein per container, it will not be a good meal replacement on it's own. I'd consider it more of a supplement, or a really good snack. It also makes for a great coffee creamer. The vanilla and chocolate flavors are absolutely delicious. I never get tired of them. The strawberries & cream is also very good, although it has a slight chemical aftertaste. The mocha flavor is o.k., but would be my least favorite of the 4 flavors. I have the vanilla on Subscribe & Save, and get a case or two every month.

I recently tried the Orgain Organic Nutritional Protein Shake in Vanilla Bean, and here are my thoughts. **Taste:** The vanilla bean flavor is delicious and not overly sweet, making it enjoyable to drink.- **Nutritional Value:** Each shake packs a solid amount of protein (20g) along with essential vitamins and minerals, which is great for my post-workout recovery.- **Organic Ingredients:** I appreciate that it's made with organic ingredients, making me feel good about what I'm putting into my body.- **Convenience:** The ready-to-drink format is perfect for on-the-go nutrition, whether I'm rushing out the door or need a quick meal replacement.Overall, I highly recommend Orgain Organic Nutritional Protein Shake for its great taste and solid nutrition, with just a few minor drawbacks. It's definitely a convenient option for anyone looking to boost their protein intake!

See my notes later in this review, if you're questioning the CARRAGEENAN ingredient! These drinks are so good for you and they actually taste great! I've tried many, many health drinks and meal replacement drinks only to find they had ingredients that weren't so good for you or they tasted average to bad. That's not the case with Orgain drinks. They have (at least I know the Sweet Vanilla Bean drink has) 16 grams of organic protein, organic complex carbs for sustained energy, 10 certified organic fruits and veggies, 23 vitamins and minerals, free of soy, free of preservatives, free of artificial sweeteners, free of corn syrup. That's what I'm looking for in a healthy drink, that will be replacing my morning sweet coffee!!And if you're someone who quit drinking these drinks because they added STEVIA ... great news ... they removed it!! Yaay! I had a bad review posted here because of the Stevia being added (it ruined the flavor), but the company contacted me right away to let me know they have since removed the Stevia and they would make it right with me on any drinks I had purchased that still had the Stevia. Also, if you're concerned about the CARRAGEENAN like I was, I have posted below what I received as a response to an email I sent the company about that ingredient. I had told them it was not a safe ingredient, therefore I stopped drinking their drinks.______________________HERE IS THEIR RESPONSE ABOUT CARRAGEENAN ...Hi Robbi! Thanks so much for reaching out.As you know, Orgain is certified organic so we do not use hormones, antibiotics, GMO ingredients, pesticides, etc. We use an organic compliant, non-degraded form of carrageenan that comprises approximately 0.028% of the total product. You may also be interested in our new vegan shakes which do not use carrageenan and are sold nationally at Whole Foods. We also have a new plant based protein powder that does not use carrageenan and is available at all Costco locations. More info is attached for those as well. Finally, the trace amount we use is so low that we will work on transitioning it out of the shakes in the coming 6 months to avoid any consumer confusion on the type and quantity used.Hope that helps!________________________I don't know yet what the Vegan shakes taste like, but they do come in the Vanilla Bean flavor that I love in the Organic Nutritional Shakes. So, I'm hoping they're as wonderful!I really appreciate the great customer service in this company who obviously cares!

Orgain Organic Nutritional Shake, Vanilla Bean - Meal Replacement is pretty good. It is a tad more sweet than I like, and I would prefer more fiber. Usually I make a smoothie using a meal replacement powder, but I wanted some convenient ready to drink option available for on the go, or when I just dont feel like getting the blender out. I also use this as creamer in my coffee.I see there that there are many reviews stating theirs were chunky. I have had a few now, and haven't had any issues thankfully. I poured one into a glass and took a picture so I can show you how smooth my supply is. Purchased June 2021 with best by date of May 2022-------------------Edit to add: I like Orgain shakes enough that I have purchased the vanilla few more times, and I recently purchased the Cafe Mocha. I came here to review the cafe mocha, and my old vanilla review came up. They must be on same page. While I prefer the vanilla for its versatility, I like this Cafe Mocha a lot too. Has a light easy to drink flavor. I have added to coffee, or I have added some instant coffee to this and then poured into a cup with ice. All good.

I love these organic grass-fed milk nutrition drinks! They help me get needed nutrients and vitamins. The flavors taste so good 🤤 Vanilla, chocolate fudge, strawberry cream.🙀 This drinks are a great value and have excellent quality! These drinks taste best cold, but it does not hurt to have them unrefrigerated. They are always a great treat!
