    Soft, buildable glow without the strong self tan smell

    I don't naturally hold much of a tan, and most of the time my skin just appears kind of flat. I desired something subtle that would warm things up a little without committing to a full self tanning routine which I don't have the patience for.Using this two to three times a week has given my face a genuinely agreeable, believable glow! After a couple of applications my face and neck look more even and healthy, especially on makeup free days. There's a tender rose scent when I first spray it, but it fades speedily. Since I'm only using it on my face and neck a few times a week, the bottle should in fact last me a while, but it still gives the impression am pleased with a bit of a splurge. I've applied it after my skincare at night and I've also lightly misted it under and over makeup and it hasn't disturbed anything. I don't notice that lingering tanning scent on my skin later in the day.It dries down fast and doesn't leave any sticky layer. It doesn't lean orange on me and it fades evenly!The mist is very fine and light. For the natural looking glow and the simple application though, I've been happy with it! I'm sensitive to that typical self tanner smell and this one is much more subtle. My skin hasn't reacted badly to it either, which is consistently something I pay attention to with tanning products.The price is without doubt higher than a lot of other gradual tanners I've tried. It builds gradually, which I way prefer due to the fact I can control how much warmth I get. It almost seems like a hydrating facial spray (or a setting spray) going on.

    Thank Goodness It's Made In Europe!!

    I do appreciate American made everything but when it comes to my skin care I tend to have a superior peace of mind when it's constructed in Europe. That's jaw dropping!!! I'm satisfied & would tremendously suggest for anyone who might be looking for a safer alternative to the traditional tanners here in the U.S. FDA has prohibited/restricted only around 11 to 30. Less is more would be the motto of Europe & we should absolutely follow in suite. As Europe generally uses fewer harmful ingredients than America due to their stricter regulations. It's the cleanest list of self tanning ingredients I've ever seen. 🇬🇧 Why does this bring me peace of mind? This Self Glow by James Read is manufactured in the United Kingdom!!! This self tanner also matches your natural skin tone. I will say that I'm normally scared of self tanner due to questionable ingredients but this is my first time having one from Europe. In fact, the European Union (EU) has banned or restricted over 1,600 ingredients in cosmetics while the U.S. Lol so very true!!!

    Love love love!!!

    Our absolute favorite!! The new changes are wonderful!! Gorgeous sun kissed glow!! The mist is even finer and spray nozzle is polished. The hint of rose water adds the perfect touch!

    Great for a short term "glow-up"

    This is a self tan spray. It contains DHA, which temporarily bronzes skin, plus rosewater, aloe, and hyaluronic acid, all of which moisturize and "plump" skin for a "glow" appearance.The effects are subtle, so this spray is great for a "glow-up" for a wedding or a date or some other special occasion. You can utilize the spray multiple times for a greater effect, but I wouldn't expect major changes, just a subtle improvement favor you see in the model photos on the page.James Read is an established brand in this space with a reputation for quality. It should last for several hours to a day, on the longer side if you add a moisturizer over it to help protect it. As a consequence, you could probably find a similar but less pricey product if you seemed, but I'd rather use something like this, where I can rely on high-craftsmanship ingredients and manufacture.Note that this is appearance only - it won't last you as long as a real tan, and unlike a real tan, it won't protect you from sunburn.
