    Great for sensitive eyes!

    I use this every single night! It keeps the sensitive skin around my eyes moisturized and my skin seems smoother. My eyes are sensitive, but this never irritates them.

    A nice light, fragrance-free balm for under-eyes

    I've only been using this for a week, so can't comment on any reduction in fine lines in my under eye region, but I can say that the texture of this balm is light and fragrance-free, and is similar to a very light lip balm. I rub this on morning and night, under my regular eye cream. It layers great under concealer and tinted foundation, no issues with pilling at all. I think this is a great under-eye moisturizer by itself. I think it's going to last a long time, as well, which I can't say for my eye cream that comes in a pot. So I like that it's economical. I already use Tretinoin which works fabulously to minimize wrinkles, so not sure how much incremental benefit this will be, but I like that it's specifically formulated for eyes, so it's less likely to irritate. I use Tretinoin around my eye area with no major issues, but definitely notice some redness here and there from it. So I like having a more gentle option that still has a retinoid, albeit not as powerful.

    An excellent introduction to retinol based skincare. A gentler formula that's easy to apply.

    This is my first experience with a retinol (or "retinoid") undereye balm. I am accustomed to using serums and creams there; for what little they seem to do (maybe I'm a difficult case, or my under eye issues are so advanced they're slow to respond to conventional skincare interventions.)This retinoid promises it will be gentler to use than traditional retinol. I am always cautious with any type of retinol, applying it sparingly at first, and no more than a couple of times a week. Of course this is for use only in the evening (it's photosensitive).The Versed balm is silky smooth and easy and very pleasant to apply. I might say I like this balm formula better than traditional creams. The shea butter delivers plenty of soothing moisturizing in this tender area. It feels really nice and this rich balm doesn't seem to dry out as quickly as most creams I've tried.I've only had the opportunity to apply this a couple of nights, but so far so good. Can't say I am noticing any earth shattering changes yet but I'm eager to see how it does after a month of so. Even the tiniest amount of improvement I'll chalk up as a win.The Versed eye balm seems like a gentle but excellent introduction to the world of retinol based skincare. Based on my short time with this well formulated product and a fair price point, I don't think it's premature to give it a thumbs up.

    Easy application, no dryness here.

    This is a teeny tiny container that reminds me of some lip balms, both in the size & shape of the container, but also the consistency. It's like a slightly oily wax that you rub circles into with one finger (specifically your ring finger if following the included directions) and then patted on to your under eye area. It does end up leaving my skin looking a little shiny, but since I'm applying this to my face before bed, I don't particularly care. By morning, it's no longer shiny or greasy.I've had no issues with irritation, although if you've never used retinol or retinoid before, you may want to do some research and consider slowly adding this to your routine. I've used both before and have experienced some dryness from other products, but that's not been a problem with this one, it's been very hydrating. There's also no scent or fragrance in this as far as I could tell, which is my preference anyways. Since you end up taking so little onto your finger at a time, even though this is an extremely small container, I expect it to last quite a while.
