    Soothing!

    I really like these. I used them the day they arrived. I wear a size 8.5 but ordered the large to allow for a little extra room with the water.The plastic smell is strong but I expect it to dissipate with use. I find the best way to use these, is to fill a water bottle with your desired temperature of water. Sit and place the boots on the floor, add a little epsom salt in each (if desired), place your feet into the boots and then add water in each to your desired level. And, let them tootsies soak!!

    Definite Game Changer!

    Omg! Why have I not seen these earlier in my life?! These really step up my shower game. I have to take showers sitting down, and I am a diabetic, so I am constantly having to soak and exfoliate dead skin, especially on my feet. I usually spend an extra 20 minutes in the shower, just on my feet. With THESE, I am able to soak my feet while I wash my hair and the rest of my body. By the time I'm done, I just take out one foot at a time and rub the skin firm, but gently to exfoliate the dead skin. It takes only 5 minutes for BOTH feet now! And they are quite easy to fill and then dump, clean and drip dry! These are definitely a game changer for me AND the environment!! Less time spent in the shower + less water = a cleaner, happier and guilt-free Kai with leftover energy to spend on more important things!

    Compact, easy to use.

    I bought this when my old foot bath finally bit the dust after decades of use. I'm in a small space and thought they might work. They do. I wear a 10.5 shoe (women's size). I set up an empty 5 gal bucket and a kettle of hot water from the sink. One foot in each 'shoe' and gave myself a pedicure. When the open water cooled a bit, I just dumped the water in the bucket and refilled the shoe. Frankly it kept the water warm longer than I had expected. The shoe does not require a lot of water. Your foot displaces enough volume that a much smaller amount will cover the foot. One kettle allowed me an initial pour and one refill. When done you can just carry the shoe and dump the water because it won't slouch and spill. I just dumped all the water in the bucket and dumped the bucket. Rinsed the shoes; the liquid emptied completely; set them in the tub to dry. The hanger was troublesome. They dried very quickly.

    Performs Well but has minor drawbacks

    The likes far outweigh the bad. The ease of use compared to my normal foot bath cannot be overstated. I don't leave either of these items out in the open and these boots are easier to move around. I also can't reach down well because of a bad knee and hip so I don't have to worry about spillage when filling or emptying the boot like I do with the foot bath.Yes, it still smells like some sort of vulcanized rubber but not at an extreme level and I cannot smell it unless I put it up to my nose area. I am using betadine as a healing process on a sore and it leaves a reddish tint on the rubber itself, even with cleaning it with Dawn liquid, that doesn't affect the performance but will gross out some people.
