    Easy install.

    Does the job excellent. (TV screen is still green, but research says it's a wiring difficulty, not bulb). Paid over $250 for this replacement bulb numerous years ago, so this price is a steal!

    Works very properly in my 10plus year old tv.

    The bulb assembly installed without difficulty. Fingers crossed that it lasts! My picture is reverse to its original brightness.

    Performs great!

    I was a little bit hesitant to order this bulb initially due to the fact throughout life I have came across that with electronics you regularly get what you pay for. Initially I appeared like this bulb may have produced the picture seem a little bit cooler/bluer than before, but it has since seemed to warm up to normal hue distribution (I may have just been imagining the hue tone differences...). I have an older 60" Samsung DLP that had become so dim it was all but useless for watching anything, even in a dark room. Overall, I am very pleased with performance for the price. I have only been running this bulb in my TV for a couple weeks so I can't comment on the longevity, but so far I am incredibly happy. Well I can say that I'm pleasantly surprised with this bulb. It was delivered as the complete unit so it was a quick and simple replacement, and now our TV is behind to looking bright and gorgeous. With brand-new name-label bulb replacements costing over $100 I was about ready to retire this TV and just get a entirely brand-new one, but I thought "what the heck, might as well try a economical replacement and if it doesn't work, I'll just go ahead and get a recent TV".

    Will definitely get again.

    The only reason i'm not rating this 5 stars is because it was a little challenging putting in. It took my 13 yr aged daughter to tell me that..lol..Needless to say, it worked. With this one, you have to actually pull the connection off the housing, slide the housing in 1st until you hear it snap into place, and then plug the connector into ballast connection. At the end of the day, my picture is as clear and bright as when I purchase the tv 3 yrs ago. Also I might add, the picture comes on VERYYY dim, and then brightens up. With the original housing, it would just snap right into place. I don't like that it doesn't come with a year's warranty appreciate the other bulb did, and the merchant is different, but i'll take another chance in purchasing one. The bulb is still going strong, still luminous and crisp as when I originally obtained the my tv; matter of fact, its brighter!!Here's another update, to my previous update: 1/13/2014My Bulb just died....I'm not complaining as I purchased this "almost" 2 years ago. My original lamp didn't do that. I'm ordering another one today. A well spent 40 plus bucks. The housing would fit into the designated slot, but the probe wouldn't snap onto the ballast effortlessly. I'll update after a few weeks, as I only installed it yesterday.This is the only company on Dropy that offered a 1yr warranty, you can't go incorrect..Addendum:Changed to 5 stars now, alternatively of my initial 4 star rating!!As I stated above in my original review, I would come back in a few months and give an updated review.
