These astaxanthin pills are sourced from China, but I haven't had any problems with them so far. To be fair, I haven't seen or felt anything weird since trying these out. I do think I've been doing a bit better overall, though I've also been switching to a new wellness routine recently, so that could be a contributing factor.Each serving is just one small pill a day. Each softgel contains 12 mg of astaxanthin derived from microalgae (haematococcus pluvialis). This isn't a vitamin like vitamin C or anything like that, so keep taking your regular vitamins alongside it.The pills themselves are small-to-medium sized, dark-colored softgels and easy to swallow. You get a four-month supply, which is quite a lot. Also worth noting: even though the extract comes from a plant source, these aren't vegan since the capsules use gelatin, in case that matters to anyone.I've personally had no issues with these, and they seem like a pretty good value if you're curious to try astaxanthin. Between the large quantity, one-a-day serving, and manageable pill size, they're straightforward to work into a routine.

I have been taking this product for a while now. One gel tab once a day. Looks to be a legitimate and internationally sold product. Made in China sold world wide. Assuming every thing on the lable is true. It is a very special variety of algae derivativ. Out of all the things stated and not formally stated about this product ingredient.I have noticed one thing sofar. I must add that im taking pumpkin oil as well. I believe the 2 together have caused my blood to thin extremely.After that I haven't quite noticed much of anything else. I will note that Ive not noticed much in the way of negative bothersome side effects.The gel tabs are quite small and ez to swallow. I believe it's 120 that come along. They are in my opinion a really spectacular crimson color. I my self have not begun to turn pink like a flamingo. Nothing I've read actually states how long it takes for that to actually begin. In any case im sure alot of the benefits are probly subtle and take place over time . As I start to notice these things ill gladly add on to this review. 4 stars

These are a small, smooth capsule, very easy to swallow with no an unpleasant smell or aftertaste. I've been taking them just over a month now and haven't noticed a difference in my skin or that it relieves any joint pain. But, it states it's a very powerful antioxidant, and I haven't been sick all winter. Can I attribute that to these? I don't know, but I'll keep taking them until the pouch is empty.

I absolutely love that it is in a bag and not a plastic bottle. I have been using oral ingestible astaxanthin for a few months now and I cant stop talking about it to everybody I know! This brand is amazing. I was born with eczema and for the first time in my life (47 years old), my eczema is GONE. No more steroids topically. No more tip toe-ing around certain products and items that itch and make me break out. I swear this is not a paid review. I am now recommending this to my cousin who has pretty bad psoriasis. I'm not sure if this will be as miraculous for psoriasis as it was for my eczema because he hasn't purchased it yet. I also got a package for my son and he's excited to try for his dermatitis. I got this because I like to take Astaxanthin for the health benefits it may have with my skin health. The beneficial ways the body may interact with Astaxanthin goes beyond just skin care imo but it is thought to be skin friendly compared to other antioxidants. This ingredient is sometimes called the 'King of Carotenoids' due to it being 6000 times stronger than Vitamin C and 550 times more than Vitamin E. It is a fat soluble pigment that is thought to interact with cell membranes. Astaxanthin is thought to neutralize free radicals that threaten skin moisture and elasticity and possibly encourage collagen and elastin by benefitting the natural integrity they both have. Astaxanthin is also thought to possibly be beneficial with eye health which is also important to me. This product is using Astaxanthin sourced from an algae called Haematococcus Pluvialis which is a freshwater species. This algae is thought to contain between 2 to 7% of Astaxanthin concentrations with its dry weight. I prefer natural ingredients for my skin care like this product is using. I would like to think that the main benefits I notice from Astaxanthin are what I don't see or see as much of, like skin blemishes and acne. I definitely notice my complexion is clear and vibrant and healthy looking. I am very much liking this has 120 softgels as that will last me a while. I didn't see any mention of any third party lab testing but I do notice this is non-GMO which I very much like. The dosage with this product is spot on with my preference.
