FAQs

Is BG66 a good string?

Yes, it is highly regarded globally as an excellent string for players looking for maximum speed, high repulsion power, and sharp acoustic feedback during intensive play.

Which string is better, BG65 or BG66?

It depends on your preference. BG65 focuses on extreme durability and tension retention with a thicker profile, while BG66 emphasizes high repulsion, speed, and precise control with a thinner gauge.

What is the difference between Yonex BG6 and BG66?

The BG66 features an advanced multifilament core and a ultra-thin premium construction that provides superior repulsion and sound compared to the more basic, entry-level economy profile of the BG6 string.

Is this YONEX BG-66PW string authentic and available in India?

Yes, this product is fully authentic. At Dropy India, we source our items directly from premium suppliers in the USA to ensure genuine quality and performance for Indian badminton players.

What tension is recommended for this thin gauge string?

Advanced precision players usually string this model between 24 and 28 lbs. Because of its ultra-thin profile, avoid over-tensioning beyond your racket's recommended limits to prevent snapping on off-center hits.
