Product details

The Yonex BG 80 Badminton String in Black is engineered for intermediate and advanced competitive players who demand explosive power and precise shuttle control. Featuring an ultra-thin 0.68mm gauge, this premium racket string delivers an exceptionally crisp, hard-hitting feel on every smash.

The advanced construction utilizes a high-intensity nylon multifilament core wrapped in high-modulus Vectran fiber, which provides superior structural strength and excellent tension retention. An outer layer of braided oval-shaped high polymer nylon maximizes the shuttle bite, giving players the ability to execute sharp slices and controlled net plays.

Ideal for aggressive smashers looking to elevate their game, this string offers rapid repulsion power that transforms raw swing speed into devastating shots. Whether you are competing in high-stakes tournaments or intense training sessions across India, upgrading your racket with this high-performance string ensures optimal elasticity, sharp acoustic feedback, and the durable reliability needed to dominate the court.

  1. Take the 10-meter string to a professional badminton stringing machine technician.
  2. Specify your preferred tension weight, typically between 24 to 28 pounds depending on your racket specifications and skill level, ensuring pre-stretching is performed for optimal tension hold.

I love BG80, but it popped so fast.

Strung at 26/28 on a Thruster F Enhanced. Played for a little over a week, and pop. Haven't had it pop that early in a long time, especially with a break in the middle. So it wasn't a miss hit. Would also suggest not getting black. The stings felt a little more slippery than the yellow or white version.
