Product details

The Yonex Super Grap Tennis Overgrip is a premium polyurethane racquet wrap engineered for athletes who demand precision, comfort, and control during intense rallies. Originally launched in 1987, this iconic tacky overgrip has become a trusted choice globally for tennis, badminton, and squash players alike.

Each strip measures 120 cm in length, making it a perfect fit for a wide variety of racquet handles. This high-quality wrap delivers outstanding shock absorption to minimize hand fatigue and reduce impact vibration on every strike.

Furthermore, its advanced moisture-wicking properties effectively absorb perspiration, ensuring a secure and stable hold even under high-pressure match play. Ideal for competitive and recreational players looking to upgrade their racquet feel, this imported three-pack delivers long-lasting durability and a soft, comfortable grip that enhances overall playability.

  1. Start wrapping from the bottom of the racquet handle, overlapping the tape slightly by about one-eighth of an inch as you move upward.
  2. Maintain consistent tension while wrapping to avoid wrinkles.
  3. Once you reach the top of the handle, cut the excess grip at an angle and secure it firmly using the included Yonex finishing tape.

Very simple even with odd install

I am disabled & use a cane. I purchased a specialty cane for mobility, but the oddly shaped & all plastic handle made it difficult to use. I decided to try wrapping it . This product shaped extremely well to all the odd angles & size changes as I applied it. It took several dry runs to figure out where I'd start & stop. Overall though I'm very happy to say my cane is comfortable & has enough tackiness to not need a "Death Grip" to use & slipping grip because of sweating has been NO issue since install.

    Excellent overgrip - pickleball

Works great on pickleball paddles. Yonex grips come in unique color options too. Perform very well and do not increase the size of the grip significantly. I would recommend this.

Long lasting overgrip with great feel and value

Summary:-My personal go-to for overgrips; far superior to anything i've tried by Wilson or the ever popular TournagripThis grip has a great, grippable texture without being sticky. And most importantly, it holds that texture and grip for a really, really long time, without starting to flake apart or become slippery or permanently attaching itself to your grip (looking at you, Tournagrip). There are some overgrips that feel better at first - but only for a few hours of playtime. Yonex Super Grap is a grip that retains most of its out-of-the-box feel for the longest time of any grip i've tried, and that is a damn good feel. Definitely recommended.Color: 10/10 - great color optionsGrip: 8/10 - good, but there are slightly better optionsDurability: 11/10 - the kingCost: 8/10 - not by any means the most expensive grip out thereRecommend: YES

FAQs

What is the difference between tacky and absorbent overgrips?

Tacky overgrips offer a sticky, high-friction feel that prevents the racquet from twisting in your hand, making them ideal for standard play. Absorbent overgrips focus primarily on drawing away heavy sweat, which helps maintain a dry surface during hot or humid conditions.

Can this overgrip be used for badminton racquets?

Yes, the Yonex Super Grap AC102EX is highly versatile and works exceptionally well on badminton, tennis, and squash racquets. Each strip is 120 cm long, providing ample length to comfortably cover handles across different racquet sports.

How thick is each strip in the pack?

Each individual overgrip strip has a thickness of approximately 0.6 mm. This ultra-thin profile ensures excellent shock absorption and comfort without significantly altering the original grip size of your racquet handle.

Are these Yonex overgrips authentic imports available in India?

Yes, they are completely authentic. Dropy India sources these genuine Yonex Super Grap packs directly from the USA, ensuring Indian athletes receive premium-quality, original gear that meets international sporting standards.

How often should I replace my overgrip tape?

It depends on your frequency of play and how much you sweat. Generally, it is best to replace the overgrip once it loses its signature tackiness, starts slipping, or shows visible signs of dirt and wear.

How long will delivery take?

Most orders arrive in 15–20 days: we source each product directly from the USA, check it at our Navi Mumbai warehouse and pack it on video. Items marked Dropy Express ship from our India warehouse and arrive in 3–5 days.

Is cash on delivery available?

Full cash on delivery is available all over India on Dropy Express items. For other orders from ₹2,499 to ₹15,000 you can use Partial COD: pay 25% online now and the rest in cash on delivery.
