Product details

The Yonex Synthetic Leather Excel Pro Replacement Grip in White is a premium, high-performance racquet grip engineered for tennis and badminton players who demand absolute control and a crisp response. Unlike standard soft overgrips, this authentic replacement grip is wrapped directly onto the handle core to provide an extra-firm feel and maximum feedback during aggressive rallies.

Crafted from advanced polyurethane material, it features a distinct dimpled texture that enhances slip resistance and hands-on stability. Measuring 25 millimeters in width, 1200 millimeters in length, and 1.6 millimeters in thickness, it effortlessly accommodates standard and extended-length racquet handles, making it a versatile choice for premium frames like the EZONE and VCORE series.

This durable synthetic leather grip provides exceptional shock absorption while maintaining a tight, secure hold. It is perfect for intermediate and advanced Indian athletes looking to upgrade their gear with authentic, top-tier international equipment.

  1. Remove the old worn-out replacement grip completely from the racquet handle.
  2. Clean any remaining adhesive residue from the handle surface.
  3. Start wrapping the new self-adhesive Excel Pro grip from the bottom of the handle, overlapping slightly while keeping consistent tension.
  4. Secure the top end with the provided finishing tape.

FAQs

How thick is the Yonex synthetic leather Excel Pro replacement grip?

The Yonex Synthetic Leather Excel Pro replacement grip has a thickness of 1.6 millimeters. This specific thickness provides a firm feel and direct feedback upon contact with the ball or shuttlecock.

Is replacement grip better than overgrip?

A replacement grip is applied directly to the handle core to replace the original factory grip, offering structured thickness and cushioning. An overgrip is a thinner layer wrapped on top of a replacement grip for extra sweat absorption and tackiness.

Can you replace the grip on a tennis racket?

Yes, you can easily replace the grip on a tennis racket when the original base grip becomes worn down, loses its firmness, or degrades over time.

How can I be sure this Yonex Excel Pro replacement grip is authentic in India?

Dropy India sources all products directly from authorized suppliers in the United States. This ensures you receive a one hundred percent authentic USA imported Yonex product in its original retail packaging.

Which Yonex grip is better?

The best Yonex grip depends entirely on your player preference. The Excel Pro series is ideal for athletes seeking an extra firm feel and maximum control, whereas the Super Grap series is preferred by those wanting a softer and tackier overgrip texture.
