    Super Strength Nail Wraps

    I am a guitarist & as the years have gone by my nails have gotten rather weak. I play finger-style & although I can use fingerpicks, I much prefer the sound & feel of my natural nails. This stuff gives me the chance to use my nails & also somewhat protect them when I'm at work. They usually last about a week or two although my thumbnail for some reason tends to last for quite longer. My only problem is, which has nothing to do with this product, is that to get them seated well I have to use nail glue. So, when the wraps eventually come off they take a bit of my nail with them & I can't use the wraps for more than a month before I have to take several weeks off to let my nails grow back out. The last layoff was almost a month because my nails had gotten so thin. I can't come up with a way around this other than use my figerpicks while they grow out.

    Got nailed again.

    This is the quote from the Dropy description page: "Each rol measures 1/8" W x 12' L."I thought I was going to get a roll of wrap 1/8" wide by 12 feet, like a thin tape. Surprise!, The tape is an inch wide! I'm not one to kick a gift horse in the mouth; but as I wanted some to fix nails once in a while, not a pro nailer business, that should last me almost forever..I cut an 1/8" by 1 inch strip from the tape. It's a good idea to take the backing off the fiberglass first, then cut the fiberglass, as you need tiny sharp nails or a pointy knife to separate a tiny strip from the backing paper. I cut the strip to the width of my nail, then stuck it over the nail near the ragged nail edge. I used a needle to spread the fiberglass to the nail and move it as needed. Then I used Sally Henson Hard as Wraps Top Coat to paint over the fiberglass. It dries in a few minutes..Nails get destroyed, so this tape can reinforce the nail and cover over edge faults to make a good appearance, It makes the nail edges much stronger then the Hard as Wraps alone. Other than seeing a bit of the fiber weave through the cover nail glue, the fiber disappears. I'm not using color on the nail, yet it is more than just acceptable.

    Easy to use, DEFINITELY works!!

    I'm totally ordering this again and again!! I'm running around raving to everyone about it! It's super easy to use and you don't need much at all! This box will last you a LONG time! I went for 5 wks with 4 broken nails and this tape held them together! I added several pictures, but you can't even tell where the tape is. The box does not come with instructions, and honestly I'm not sure if I used the recommended method, but it worked. I cut a tiny piece of tape, place it over the break, brush on some nail glue and file down any rough edges to smooth it out. Then paint over it and you're done! If you don't want to paint over it (or don't have time) the tape turns clear after you wet it with glue. There is some adhesive on the tape, but I was using such small pieces that I felt the glue held it down better so I could paint over it. I love it! Where has this been all my life?!

    Perfect Product

    With all my allergies I cannot have acrylic nails. This product is self adhesive, easy to useand keeps my nails from breaking. There's enough in the package to last for a while.
