  Solid daily gut support with quality ingredients

  I like this more as a steady support supplement than something I would reach for once my gut is already in a full flare. When I am feeling very off, I usually prefer a powder with at least 5 grams of glutamine, so this does not replace that for me. Where this fits best is earlier on, or as part of regular maintenance.The ingredient combination makes sense to me, and I appreciate not having to buy zinc carnosine, glutamine, and slippery elm separately. It is easy to take, the ingredients look clean, and the third party testing adds confidence. For the price, I think it offers good value.I have IBD and IBS, and when I take this as tonic support, it seems to help keep bloating and inflammation from building. That has been the biggest benefit for me.   Combo gut support supplement from trusted supplement company Toniiq

  Toniiq is among the most trusted supplement companies in the U.S. Unfortunately, that's not a very high bar. The things to look for in a supplement maker include: U.S. manufacture in certified GMP (good manufacturing practice facilities), availability of certificates of analysis (COAs) from reputable 3rd party testing laboratories showing purity and potency, customer contact points, including address, phone number and email. The most important one of these, in my opinion is being able to see COAs of the lot number of your purchase. Most supplement companies have learned to claim to do U.S. manufacturing in cGMP facilities and to do independent 3rd party testing of their products. However, most do not share the COAs, or share only ones from their internal labs, not certified independent labs. I have yet to find a company that identifies the actual facility that makes their products, and most don't have a complete list of contact points. Toniiq offers COAs of their current lot #s (the Zinc Carnosine Complex I received has a lot # matching the COA on their site). The Toniiq product COAs that I've seen are from Certified Laboratories, an ISO 17025-accredited dietary supplement testing lab used by the FDA among others. A company address is on the supplement container. For contact, they offer an email (best) and a webmail form but no phone number. I'm an email person myself, so I won't complain too much about that.The three ingredients in this product, zinc carnosine, glutamate and slippery elm are all promoted for gut health. You will have to look up what about it specifically, because medical claims aren't allowed in reviews. Thesee ingredients include two that have good scientific studies supporting their effectiveness (zinc carnosine and glutamate) and one that's more just believed to be good for the gut, lacking good studies. The quantity of zinc carnosine per serving is what is generally recommended in the literature, but the amount of glutamate is far lower than would be considered useful. Likewise, the amount of slippery elm serving is far lower than I find suggested for this supplement. This is a common issue with combination supplements, because to have full doses of all ingredients in one serving would result in huge capsules or huge servings. Therefore I would consider this a good source of zinc carnosine, but if you want to add glutamate and/or slippery elm to your regimen, you would be better off obtaining single ingredient sources of those.The capsules are medium-sized which for me are not at all difficult to swallow. The capsule shells are clear and made of vegetable based hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. The capsules are full and the contents are a sandy-appearing khaki color. There's little to no detectable odor or taste from them.The current price Toniiq is selling this zinc carnosine complex for is a great value at $12 after coupon. Even the before coupon price of $16 is lower than many others and the companies offering it for less do not have Toniiq's reputability.

  Good zinc

  I've had occasional digestive discomfort, bloating, and sensitivity after meals for a while, so I decided to try this 1000 mg Triple Blend Zinc Carnosine Supplement. I think it may be from taking NSAIDs for a knee issue. I haven't noticed a difference after about a week+ but it may be one of those supplements that will provide less irritation, better overall comfort, and improved regularity in time as it strengthens the gut. At 60 capsules per bottle, it's a decent value for a "premium" blend. No stomach upset or side effects for me. I think if you're looking for support for digestive health, gut lining repair, and everyday comfort, this is a pretty good option.

  Triple Blend gut health supplement!

  This Toniiq,1000 mg Triple Blend Zinc Carnosine supplement seems like a wonderful product. I've been taking all three of these ingredients in separate supplements to help support my gut health. I was absolutely thrilled to find all three in this one supplement and I am so excited to see if they continue to help support the health of my stomach. This supplement has 1 part Zinc L-Carnosine, to help with mucosal support, 1 part L-Glutamine for gut barrier, and 1 part Slippery Elm for soothing comfort. This has 500 mg of L-Glutamine, 350 mg of Slippery Elm bark, and 150 mg of Zinc Carnosine, 32mg of that is Elemental Zinc. These capsules are medium sized capsules, and were easy to go down. There was no odor or taste to them and no funny after taste. So far they have not bothered my sensitive stomach, but I have been taking them after a meal. The suggested use is to take two capsules with a meal. There are 60 capsules in each bottle and this order came with two bottles. That's a two month supply. I appreciate that these are potent, highly purified and pure, and third-party and lab tested. I think this is a great product.
